The average Brazilian has low purchasing power and everything is expensive because the tax system is entirely focused on consumption. Wages are low. If you earn an average salary in the local currency you're locked from experiencing any of the good things the country could offer because you will spend it all on your basic needs. The rest of our issues you already know.
