Why do Japanese people speak so fast
I learned two languages by watching cartoons in them without any subtitles, they're usually oriented towards kids so the VAs speak slowly and clearly which gets you into immersion quickly, I tried watching the same cartoons in Japanese and they speak so fast I can barely tell the words apart
I thought it might be because they end up with more/longer words after translation that they have to fit into the same runtime, but watching original Japanese anime for kids and it's the exact same, the VAs speak at the same speed as in adult programming

Comprehensive input anon, comprehensive means you need to comprehend the input you're receiving. Rubbish input results in garbage output.

Of course this theory is already a bit old at this point, but it has stand the test of time, with some new findings, of course. One of them is that you need to be engaged with the input in order for the to be, well comprehensive. Watching what you want, reading what you want, all because you just want it. Everything to make the input understandable for you, to make you understand the messages.

Japanese might sound fast if you think in terms of syllables, but personally I don’t really feel they speak that fast. And actually, compared to normal conversation, anime lines aren’t that quick.
And it might be that Japanese speakers just perceive speech differently. I’ve always felt English is way faster, but once you get a bit used to it, it doesn’t feel quite as fast.

2つ目のRehacQは少し知的な内容の動画を作成しているチャンネルですよね
ダークマターとかについては高校で物理を軽く学んでy=−1/2gt^2とかいう自由落下の距離程度の公式しかわからない僕にはわかりませんw 後でよく見てみます
3つ目の動画、日本に住んでるのか、または住んでいた経験があるアメリカ人の車関係のチャンネルのもののようですね
この人が普段政治的な話をそこまでしてるのかわからないですが、高市首相を称賛してるようですね 彼の話す内容を聞いていると、彼はアメリカの保守派的な感じで移民とかに問題視してるのかな
高市が日本版トランプだ、という意見が外国人の間で見られてるようですが、それは浅い意見じゃないかなと思いました
すいません、意見がまとまるほどそれら3つの動画の背景知識がないっすね、

Like if you say this is very difficult, that's the same as this is not very easy, but it uses the same word very

You know, I suffer a bit regarding that. Because of my job most of the days I have at most 2~4 hours of free time, if that, and of course it's not like I can dedicate everything for hobbies. In general, I am able to spend at least 1 hour of that time "immersed" in japanese, as in watching 1~2 episodes of anime with japanese subs, plus Anki (in the days I have the patience to do it), and I've been wondering if that's enough. During the weekends I can dedicate more time but it's not like everything I want to do in front of my computer is in japanese, and I don't feel like forcing myself to do those in japanese would do any good either.

If it's an old game set up a VM with japanese locale (tokyo and timezone often needed to run games) if you dont want to mess with your computer settings.
If you use Linux and play through Wine run it with LANG=ja_JP.UTF-8
Easiest option might just be to install an old copy of windows on another harddrive and let that be your Japanese version.

Yeah no that's understandable, and even if you have time in the weekend it's understandable most people won't have the energy or will to spend the entire weekend doing something that feels like studying. Visual novels are long and time consuming though so I feel like if someone is reading it in English it may as well just be in Japanese. The issue is though, if you don't push yourself through that stage of reading is tiresome, then it will always be tiresome. If you push yourself through it, eventually it will be relaxing and no longer be studying.

当時は仕事に凌辱される毎日だったからあまり時間がなかったが日本語を読む、聞くこと自体楽しいと思ってたので隙あらばSyosetuで変なもん読むなり遠い古のエロゲのラジオなど聴くなりは仕事中や通勤の際にしてたし家ん中でもできるだけゲームやったりニコ見たりはした
一日何時間日本語に触れてんのか気にしなかったので数えようとしなかった、よって実際の数値はさっぱりっす

取り合えず一日一時間以上ならクソみたいな方法でやってない限り(Duolingoとか)そしてお手上げしない限りは5年以内でN1合格間違いなしと思う
そのブラジルニキは母語や英語で映画見たり、本読んだりしてゲーム遊んだりするのかな?するのならそういうのを全て諦めて日本語だけでその様なエンタメに触れた方がいいと思う。そうすればその2時間が自然と4時間になれるんじゃないかと
ただ、自分が面白いコンテンツを見つけないといけないしN2ぐらいじゃなければ逆にストレスの要因になりかねないだろう

The first one sounds more natural to me, the passive structure in english _usually_ has the subject of the action (in this case, pointed with the "by") at the end of the sentence. That said, I think the second sentence is correct too desu, who knows.

It's an interesting opinion.
My perspetive, the title(生者の行進) sounds like both a pun on “Saints(聖者さいじゃ)” and a statement about the living, breathing, moving reality of human life.
日本語で書くと、生者(口語ではせいじゃ、文語的には“せいしゃ“らしい)は死者との対比で使われる単語なんだけど、『聖者の行進』という何か作品を文字って同音異義語の「生者」に置き換えてると思われる。
歌詞を見ると、生々しさや生身の人間の生き様が描かれているようなので、僕にとっては「生者の行進」という歌名はしっくり来ますね

the basic meaning is an ability present at birth, as it is used in 天才 heaven granted ability
or 才能 ability and potential
but it was in later times also frequently borrowed as an adverb meaning "just" that had the same pronunciation as 才 (this could also be written 纔)
this adverb "just" was similar to English "just" in that sometimes it can mean like "just now"

物理的で買いたい月刊があるけど日本に住んでいないから購読は無理だよ
他の問題は:
一番人気の漫画以外はファン翻訳だけだ
英語で買えたくても買えない、英語で読みたくても読めない。
例えば、私の好きな漫画の8割は多分一生に翻訳されてない
買えなく読めない漫画、誰が買ってるの?無理だ。でもファン翻訳のお陰で皆は漫画を好きになる。その結果、日本語を学びたい人がいる。日本語を学んで日本語の漫画を買いたい人が生まれる。アクセスが問題だ
できるだけ買ってるけど、日本のために
因みにVPNなしでストリーミングもできない
たくさんサイトには日本のクレジットカードがないなら使えないこともある
無理じゃん、諦めるのは当然だ
