I don't understand why she or her son Richard Lionheart are made to be Franco-English when they were very clearly not. Eleanor was as southern a lady could be southern, she was the duchess of Aquitaine, and did not even speak French natively. Richard was Franco-Aquitan, and was definitely more southern than he was French. Both of them spoke no English, were completely unrelated to England, besides owning it, and occasionally going there to rule it, as their rule was that of itinerant kings, since Henry II inherited England, because the Normans promised it to him after their line died out.
