As an international white male, I genuinely feel remorse for all of the evil and genocide and bloodshed my ancestors perpetuated.

Call me a leftist libtard all you want, but the fact is that all of the apologising in the world won't make up for those terrible crimes and the effects which are still felt by people of colour today.

How come Whites have to feel guilty about colonization but the Islamic and Mongolian raids on Europe were just hunky-dory?

If I was white, wouldn't I feel proud that my ancestors were the ones to make their countries into places where slavery was abolished, human rights were declared, innocence until proven guilty was upheld, and there was genuine fairness and prosperity etc? Everywhere else was in the stone age "might-makes-right" mindset by comparison, no less full of atrocities and evil, but whites unironically made an effort to elevate civilization above it. People of color today would not even be bitching about white people if they had never decided to be a force for good in the world, they would instead be being massacred in one of their mudhut villages by their neighboring tribes with no white safe-haven to appeal to and they would know no history anyway and all of the crimes of white people against nonwhites wouldn't be studied or learned about.
