That is not an admirable attitude. When you agree to work for someone the implicit assumption is that you dedicate your working hours to your work; it's what you've pledged to do. Finding loopholes to slack off reflects poorly on your character.
It's not so much that your employer loses income (that is irrelevant -- if he wanted something done properly he should have done it himself), it's that you sell your honor, your good name, for a few minutes of idle time. A man is only ever as good as his word. I think you could have been more.
