1. Easy orthography and phonology. Everything is spelled the way it sounds, and no special characters/diacritics.
2. Grammar should be simple but not too simple. Tenses and cases can be marked with different particles. For example:
I before-go there = I went there
I after-go there = I will go there at a later point in time
And much like Persian's "ra" particle, it can mark the direct object as a pseudo-accusative case.
3. Once we get the "skeleton" of the language built, we can just add vocabulary as we see fit.
