I work with diesel electric systems and we had to do some shit where we interacted with tech support. Team used to be a bunch of guys from Japan and Europe but they got one Indian manager and now every single techical support person is Indian. We had to do a total reset and rekeying of systems for new hires and it was obvious the Indians didn't know how to use the system at all and they straight up started faking a bad connection at one point. One of the fucking beaner technicians just figured out how to open the device BIOS and just copy pasted the files from the necessary employee files and when we just asked the senior management and manufacturer for the actual numeral key to implement them and that worked. We wasted a full two 8 hour shifts with "technical support" and this on the spot fix only took about 20 minutes to do.

No, we need a data engineer with deep experience working with BI and analytics teams. Basically, this person needs to be able to do whatever is needed to give tools and power to our account reps to create complex reports.

That might mean making a new data store and running an ETL job from our write DB. It might mean making a small react app that shows a custom view of customer data specific to a rep's needs. Maybe it's jumping into the dirty platform code and fixing a data integrity issue related to importing data.

We're looking for a product person as much as an engineer.

Like I'm careful about writing my resumes and try to avoid over exaggerating my skills out of fear to actually no be up fpr the jobs and then there are people like him, who blatantly lie about everything in their resumes and might even succeed with it. I'm really not made for job hunting. I was raised to be way too honest.

You can lie on your resume if you can back it up with a bullshit story and be very detailed about it.

If you watched someone write a file explorer in react and you understand it's architecture very well, just say you did it. Nobody cares or can validate it anyways.
