I'm Indian American and all my fashion is based around 1890-1939 Oxbridge Indian-maxxing. I even have the Gandhi style glasses. My favorite part of history is the Long 19th Century (thousands of hours in Vic 2) and the struggles for independence across the colonial world.
Just to say that visiting London was a dream come true to me, beautiful city and a truly international place. It still feels like the center of a huge global empire compared to a city like New York which has unmistakably Americanized every immigrant. Britons outside London might see this as a bad thing, but I found it super cool how many people wear their traditional fashions in Central and West London. I wish I had an Indian British accent, but unfortunately my southern drawl gives away what I try to hide with my style of dress
