With the internet islamic societies are losing their control over access to information which was their safeguard against mass apostasy. The last blocker is that in these societies leaving islam publicly will have you face repercussions, socially if not also legally, but once that is removed you'll see these countries leave islam by the masses.
Already several "muslim" countries have non-religious youth, though there is still what ibn khaldun called "asabiyah", leaving vestiges of islamic thinking in an otherwise non-muslim person.
