The average age in my hometown is around 40, and you cannot get anywhere without a car because everything is spaced out about 10 miles from anything. As a 25 year old I am an alien, the only places where there are people remotely my age are at Mass and in Costco, and even then, they are around 30 and have 2-3 kids.
Also, there's like 10,000 new Indians that just randomly showed up and filled out the apartments nearby with lesser rent prices. The city is knocking down part of the park's forest in order to build more apartments, so a significant part of the trail's view is disappearing.
In order to climb out of here, I need money, and for money, I need a job, but to get a job, I'd need a car to get to work, but the problem is that I need money to get a car. I've applied to remote jobs to no avail. I tried really hard to get a girlfriend in highschool and college by warming up to girls I liked and then asking them out but none of them wanted to go on a single date with me. But I've graduated months ago now and I'm not really thinking about the lack of women at the moment, I'm kind of in dire straits. At least people are sympathetic now more than they used to be, I hear people are saying "it's as bad as 2008," whatever that means. As long as my parents don't kick me out I should be fine to keep applying for jobs.
