Sadly it sucks when you’re not motivated. Like why try hard for career and getting a home, car , etc when you can’t attract the girls you wanted to build with.
When you’re young thats when people care about you when you have nothing. But if you didn’t have it then , it doesn’t feel worth it to work hard , be a finished product for someone that doesn’t truly love you. May as well be the stay at home son. Drink, smoke, maybe travel , keep fit at least. But dam too much trouble to socialize .

i'm already gonna be raising my nephew once my parents get too old. Based on my experiences as a helpful uncle so far, I don't think i'd hate helping out with a stepchild. As long as their mom takes on 90% of the burdens of parenting, and I just get to do easy stuff like driving them to school, and fun stuff like taking them to amusement parks.
