To have 1 million yen monthly after taxes it's necessary 3-3.1 million dollars as the principal

I never want to work or think about money after retiring

With 3 million dollars(16 million reais), you'd get more than 100k reais monthly just of interest. You can live like a king here while in Japan 1 million yen monthly it'd be upper middle class to barely high class

Yes, I do like it. I even plan to learn koto when I find one that isn't used
The main thing though is that Japan is one of the few remaining sane countries in the world besides scandinavian ones, but I don't like the cold that much and I don't know anything about their culture or language
