so many of you can do this but its such a stuck idea that all jobs are in the city and you must pay out of your ass to live there. no, you dont have to. you make less living rural but you pay even less for housing, you end up with more. if you miss city life so much just take weekends in hotels there instead?

Making enough money that I no longer have to work and my wealth makes me artificially attractive to vapid woman I would otherwise have no chance of fucking. That’s making it.

I've tried loving girlfriends, my dream job, moving abroad to live in a penthouse and working without actually having to go to the workplace and without even really working. In most cases I had at some point assumed "this is going to be it" and inevitably within about a month it goes back to me going "I'd rather sit in this chair and drink a lot of beer and post frogs".

Now I aim to have some sort of financial independency without having to pretend to work and simultaneously I'm almost certain that I'd quickly drink myself to death in some cheap corner of Asia if it actually happens.

I'd like to be happy for more than a fleeting moment but I've accepted that I don't really work that way so I just try to enjoy some of this sometimes.

Paying your step or paying your debt I don't know the term for that in the English language, but it's basically enduring what life throws at you and not pussying out on your beliefs. Jesus is an example of that whether he's real or not. I've decided a few years ago that my objective is joining BOPE because that's how I'll be paying my debt. If I can endure it, I'll search for a bigger challenge and I'll keep searching a higher mountain to climb until the day I die. I now think that more than ever since my friend who I saw as a brother became a cripple and won't be able to climb the mountains as well. I'll do it for both of us.

A few advices:
- you dont need all the gear they're showing in the book, it's made for real pastry chefs that want to make a business and needs perfect reproducibility. You can tinker with ustensils and use chink or local shit that's fine.
- the quality of your ingredients is primordial, you need bio mature fruits, good chocolate (valrhona, 50€/kg), nice butter with high fat content. For french products and silicon molds this is good : https://www.cuisineaddict.com/
- those ingredients are expensive, just be aware of it, also if you're alone you're gonna struggle eating big cakes
Ferrandi also makes a lot of others cooking books (boulangerie, charcuterie, meat, veggies...), they're quite nice if you're interested in that, don't know if they're all translated though
