If you could go back in time, what would you have done differently? I’m rapidly approaching the end of my 20s and by extension my youth (I’m 27) with absolutely nothing to show for myself.
I’m working a soulless office job with no upward mobility. I hate the city I live in. I have no friends and have no idea how to meet people because the only things people seem to do here is go out to bars. Needless to say I make no effort to approach women either and I’ve never had a girlfriend.
How do I not end up like you? No offense.

Yep. Almost 30 and I have done and achieved nothing. Only 1 irl friend left. Hardly made any new friends since adulthood. Hardly ever dated the longest time was a mere 7 months and I've never brought anyone around family. No career progress never made more than 45k a year and got a worthless meme degree I've never used. Been a NEET for like 4 years out of my 20s. Never been to any parties or crazy wild fun clubs or trips with friends.
I deeply hate myself because of all this and because I have always sat in front of the computer most of my free time and been shy to leave my comfort zone.
I always just say "next year I'll fix things" and never do. However I am legitimately trying to get things in order now that the reality is setting in my 20s are over. Hopefully I can salvage things a bit

Honestly nothing very revolutionary. About to get a gym membership, started a class to be a semi truck driver and started using dating apps to find a long term relationship again which I rarely do. So hopefully everything will just come together. But I've said that for years. I'm a very lazy fuck. I'm trying not to demotivate myself though. So this time it'll work :)
