Plattdeutsch is specific to Moselle, and even then it's specifically a Frankish variant. Many Lorrains like my mother would speak some kind of Romance 'patois' relative to their area of origin, about the same dialect between Belgium and Romande Switzerland but with more or less significant differences between villages.
