Public pools in America are fucked anyway. The last time I went my feet got all cut up on glass because my neighbors are animals who would rather throw bottles on the ground / in the pool than walk five feet to a trash can.

This is a suburb as much as those copypaste southwest suburbs people like to show off when they randomly feel like complaining about the US. And in general the average person goes to the grocery store stocks up food for a few weeks then that's it. If you're complaint about this is 'but what about stores or restaurants' then you're more consumerist than the average person in the US. Almost every suburb has a public park, library, and post office, but it's true that there aren't as many places to shop unless you live near a mall.

You put in a note to have the driver to go to the deli inside and ask for a certain meat and a certain amount. This is assuming the deli is even open and such meat is available. Otherwise you're gonna request the regular stuff, fresh stuff from something like a deli tends to be a fancier thing then a regular thing.
Now what to do with that and anything else fresh? Freeze it until it's time to cook or eat. Unless you're planning to eat it the same day then freeze the left overs.

Do you not have a freezer for meat? Or a refrigerator? How do you think the grocery store keeps the meat you buy? You're not going to convince me that everywhere else eats out every single day or has a town butcher. Grocery stores also sometimes have delis if you want to buy prime cuts. It's just easier to buy a ton of ground beef, rice, and vegetables like onions and potatoes than it is to make multiple trips to the store every few days.

For most of these, you can just drive into town, which is like 15 minutes away.
The rest of them are explained by the demographics of America. When you live in a suburb, you live around peaceful, upper middle class, well educated, socially normal people. When you live in most cities, you live around the rest of the population. Not having things is the point. Safe neighborhoods don't have parks where gangs do drug deals during the night and sometimes shoot each other. Good neighborhoods have a small local school isolated from the low standards and borderline retarded population of the city. Nice places to live aren't connected to public transit, because the underclass uses that.

>if you want to own a standalone house you have to be ready to live in a soulless factory farm with no access to anything interesting when going on a nice walk around the neighborhood
>to access the outside world YOU MUST GET IN THE CAR GET IN THE CAR NOW AND DRIVE TO EVERYWHERE IN THE WORLD YOU HAVE NO OTHER CHOICE
>haha what's that? You want to actually explore an interesting place to live on your own two feet or safely on a bike? Just go to the city silly (which suburbanites will then undermine at every step with destruction of good public transit, supporting massive freeways, and pushing for parking minimums so they can still drive in and park their car before taking their money elsewhere)

Not really? What OP and his cherrypicked pic fails to show is the neighborhood only being a few blocks in from a connecting street in one direction, and a system of woods in the other direction just right next. With trails, and a pond, and deer (not that you have those in Western Europe, or any wildlife besides the occasional fox in your overcrowded shitholes)

you just live under a false set of assumptions, that's why you don't understand your opposition's arguments

conservatives believe:
>the current economic system we live in is largely a natural market that responds to pressures and demands organically. If things are a certain way, they evolved that way as an adaption to natural circumstances
>This market is more or less fair, you are reimbursed according to the value you produce. If you provide a high value, you get high wages, a low value, low wages.
>We operate in a world of scarcity, it is a struggle to produce enough resources to meet everyone's needs

In actually-
>Natural
Corporations are artificial, government engineered entities with an absurd amount of rights and privileges beyond normal individual rights. They largely make a profit by gaming and manipulating the system and pushing competitors down rather than providing a fair service. The most successful individuals are those who are the most competent liars and scammers.
>Fair
-According to research approximately 40% of people believe their job does basically nothing of value. Perverse incentives allow these bullshit jobs to exist without providing anything tangible.
-Meanwhile, only 15-20% of people are involved in the production of actual material goods. It used to be 80%. This is the result of increased efficiency - one worker can produce the same amount of material wealth as 4 workers in the past. They are, of course, not paid 4x more, worker wages have stagnated.
-There is broad agreement among economists that the amount earned by CEO's is not proportional to the value provide.
>Scarcity
There are far more houses than there are homeless people, and more than enough basic goods and services to go around. We saw during covid that most people can stay at home and society will continue to function just fine - only a minority of people actually keep it afloat, the rest are largely redundant. Any scarcity of basic material goods is artificial

Virtually all of East Asia was built up in the last 20-30 years. If that's your solution then you're pining for things that can appear and disappear in a generation. How would moving to another country even help you? You still need to work there and you're densely packed in with the rest of the population. There's no world where having more space isn't preferable.

Multiply the amount of bullshit jobs and incompetent management by a factor of 10 and you have Japan. One of the most highly paid jobs in the US is electrical engineer, the problem is that you don't need very many engineers per capita so 90% of people get filtered. Machines increase production to the point where most labor is redundant in every country. Only Europe seems to have realized this and takes the easy solution of welfare and hookers to keep people satisfied.

All large organizations are like this. Why were FAGMAN recently “trimming down from overhiring?” How were they able to “overhire” in the first place if they were supposedly lean mean free market machines? Once you get beyond the scale of what a single visionary can manage, you get bloat. My group (~90 employees) at a tech company hasn’t had a secretary for 3 months and nothing happened. But the org chart says every group Shall Have a secretary— excuse me, administrative assistant— even if there’s only 12 people in the group. Very Efficient.

Suburbanites are a different breed fr. They see nothing wrong with this "life" and spending their one lifetime on some generic ugly ass street like this, driving everywhere in their cubicle.
