indices like this are made to generate pavlovian responses to your country becoming progressive. You're good and rewarded if you're globohomo-aligned and you're bad and evil if you're not. Tourist hotspots that have a multi-billion economy based off of tourism alone (like Greece) have mediocre reputation or even a bad one like the Philippines, but the unaligned nordics that get few tourists in comparison are somehow more reputable. America elects Trump and drops to third world tier shithole despite the entire world slurping its culture and half of it being its ally.
