I think I've reached the point where I've become too smart to enjoy videogames. Within seconds of gameplay I can usually identify the optimal way to play and also already am aware what kind of mechanics the brainless devs have implemented to 'challenge' me. at this point I usually alt f4 and stare at my screen, maybe brows steam a little bit if theres anything truly new out there, but I havent found it yet.
I speak multiple languages, have degrees in the sciences and arts and have been to 4 continents (SA, australia and antarctica arent worth visiting). I'm well versed in literature, different cultures and human behavior. There is simply nothing that can challenge me on a spiritual level without me instantly understanding its origins and goals. Most game stories are intended for the intellectual capacity of toddlers.
