I have been looking for a job since April 2024. Over a year and a half
I had a job but it was absolutely terrible, hence why I was looking. Eventually I just had to quit that job and I've been unemployed, burning through my savings, completely financially ruined with zero hope of getting a new job
The job market right now is one of the worst of all time

brother, the tech industry was decimated. 10s of thousands of people lost their jobs. Add in Trump shutting down entire public agencies in the US leaving 10s of thousands more out of jobs and the rest getting shipped to India, it has never been a worse time to look for a job
All the senior experienced people that got laid off are desperate for work because they have mortgages and families, so they're taking the entry level jobs.
I'm probably just going to move to Alaska and live in the wild until I freeze to death
