>I don't know...
You're on the internet. You can look this up just as quickly as you can admit a lack of knowledge on the subject.
Happens in your country? Please let me know if it doesn't; I need to get away from the comfortably and proudly stupid.

I do not trust information I find on the internet to do my thinking for me.
I base my beliefs and actions only on information that comes from within, not because it was necessarily more correct in an objective sense but because it is organic, it is "me", and being epistemologically sound takes precedence over being correct every and each time.

I don't trust people who don't think. That's the problem. My career is largely based on my ability to solve problems that come to me with very little true information. It's become more than full time because nobody's methods involve looking up solutions or methods, or asking the expert their company pays hundreds of thousands to every year just to have them available to answer such questions...
If I were to present you three boxes - one of which contains something you deeply desire, and the other two something funny but ultimately worthless - and asked you to choose one box, then showed you that one of the other two boxes contains a buttplug with a whistle on it before offering you a chance to change your choice, would you trust your methodical thinking or take a quick search of the Monty Hall problem before giving a final answer?

It's unlikely... in layers. It's like an onion of improbability.

As opposed to... not knowing? Making something up? It's always important to weigh the information presented, run it through whatever sieves or across whatever razors you have available. If you don't know something, is it not better to find out?
I'm going to google Columbia's climate and check against my biases to see if it was ever on the list to begin with.

Epistemological humility is the height of wisdom. Socrates was famous for saying that "I know that I know nothing". How can you claim to be an authority on a subject after a brief wikipedia dive?
