1. build buildings in capital that make profit
2. build up profitable RGOs
3. build towns in high pop areas and connect them to capital by road

And that's a good thing. Hated EU4, so I'm glad they removed a bunch of the trash features in that game specifically the mana points bs. Would've never imagined nuParadox releasing a game more difficult than its predecessor.

the game lasts for hundreds of years, 1 year is nothing
also build buildings of different types
for example build RGO so that peasants promote to laborers, build scriptory so they promote to clergy, and build industry so they promote to burgers, as this all can happen at the same time

Pressing buttons that do nothing but change numbers on a screen isn't really a "game". You might as well say that online banking is a video game.

Factorio is another case of a midwit game posing as something for brainiacs. The gameplay loop is >figure out an optimal template (outside the game) >or just find it online >spam the said template
It's why CSfags love that game. It's basically OOP in game form.

Try Victoria3, the tutorial literally holds your hand the whole way through and with a guide (the official wiki) you literally can't mess up, it takes at most a dozen hours to become good at the game. It's a fun game. Ignore the haters, they're autistic.
