Why is it a good idea to share a common currency with many independent states that control their own fiscal policy? Like, what could possibly go wrong?

Meh, in a ideal world, with responsable politians, I would love Spain to have it's own currency, but I know the useless commies we have in command right now, so I prefer to keep the Euro.
If we had our own currency, those stupid fucks would turn on the printing machine and we would become Rhodesia (also known as Zimbabwe) or even worse, Argentina kek
