Sure English has some weird vocab and pronunciation isn't intuitive. But Spanish conjugation? What the fuck? I think I've got more then I bargained for.

That's why I said that Germanic languages are easier to learn because they have operators like to, have, will, would.
German, Faroese, Icelandic, and I think some Swedish dialects still have grammatical cases, which can be difficult to grasp in general, but here the Slavs have an advantage. That's why I don't like it when people dismiss languages like Spanish or Italian for being "easy to learn". Although Germanic languages are crazy about vowels

For English speakers? Hard af in my opinion. Cases, not so many materials and learning strategies, consonant clusters and very distant phonetically. It is doable, but it won't be easy. Interestingly, I think it's a little easier for Italians, Spaniards, Portuguese, and Brazilians pronunciation-wise because of the R sound, the same or similar vowels (English has different ones), and Brazilian even has soft sounds like many Slavic languages.
