both countries have deep seated issues, crime is one thing, but industrializing a country is really hard, most countries are poor, if india industrializes the world would be fucked due to their potential carbon emissions as the most populous country in the world

I agree with you when you say that Mexico is unfixable, historically and in the present day, latin america is the least important region in the world, and so i have more faith in the poorest african countries to become developed countries one day than i do in mexico
