Nah. MTL has gotten good enough and getting better due to AI. They're already built into AR glasses so that you can get realtime translations. I used google translate + cameraphone on my trips overseas now.

it will become useless once constant nonstop fully voiced automatic ai translation makes every single human develop thier own non intelligible dialect
