I know quite a few in Asia I like hanging with and drinking beers/soju with, few in America but most of that scene has become TDS levels of annoying. Kinda hard to remember the names of people I like meeting with since I don't do x/insta/shit I just kinda have to remember them from the prior year's events.

It's fine, it's in LA it's expensive unless you're in the area. It's a fairly decent 2.5ish day event I guess, dealing with California(ns) and all the baggage that comes along with it is a bit meh; and lot of people attending I felt were more fans of the fandom and shipping than the series but might have been just me. Biggest personal gripe was no bar close and with a smaller event guess cuz it's new i guess, you're just going to end up sitting a lot after the 30ish minutes it takes to walk through the event. It's fine especially if you can't afford, don't have a passport, or just straight up aren't willing to go to a bigger event like Retaisai or that one in Osaka

If you're going hope, it's a good time.
