>>49522961Didn't this game got mega censored, or is that a mod?
What was that game from a year or more ago with the character called something like knockuppers and I think had an anime. Did that shut down? Was it any good?
>>49523058The censor works only on some things or modes, not too sure the specifics but I've seen it. This isn't a mod.
So I'm guessing the Shine Post game has no pantsu?

The problem with the Shine Post game is that it took too long to release. The anime aired almost three years ago. By this point, most people probably already forgot about the franchise.

Yep, Im thinking Shine Post won
>>49528660But does it have pantsu?
It's interesting that Shine Post utilizes AI voice for group performance.
>This work uses an AI singing voice library that has been trained using deep learning technology to learn the singing voices of the voice actors who played the idols, and it is possible to change the singing position for all songs during the live performance. I think it would have been a difficult approach in terms of the amount of material to have the idols themselves sing every song, but when you hear that it is actually possible to sing different parts by adopting this format, the sense of reality of the live performance itself increases, making you want to try out various combinations.https://www.gamer.ne.jp/news/202506040002/
>>49528992Yes it does.

>>49531213Maybe, but I also feel it's time people stop pretending Wuwa is more generous than Genshin.
Any further yuri in Shine Post?
Betweem Haru and Ren or the that lady fan.
Now that I am expecting any.
>>49531213No. There is no way blue archive is above azur lane, the latter only earns money through skins and even if you log in once a week you have enough currency to roll for every unit easy, the only problem its if you are a newfag, but even then limited units get put into permanent shops after their second run.
>>49531213Mahjong Soul being all the way down there is hilarious and also depressing

>>49532039Reduced monthly gems in exchange of guaranteed one new character each month assuming you do daily/event missions. Whether it's more generous or not is arguable desu since someone can spent 2500 gems without getting any new character while there are people which get new character with much fewer gems or even from daily single roll after watching ads.
>>49533530Congrats to anon for winning the surviving game lottery. Lot of anons who have been here before have picked dying games and suffered.
I miss Japanese games.
I'm so tired of chinkshit games where it's literally all hags and fags. Zero effort in character designs too, just the most generic and awful character design but give it giant tits or make it a pretty bishie boy and retards eat it with a shovel while begging for more.

>>49536231The Japanese can't be putting that much effort in if their games drop dead in less than a year
>>49536231What was a loli heavy Japanese game you liked?
>>49538234Too much investment into games and input from passionate game devs. The successful games must spend money on a lot of marketing and market research. That's why successful games have a lot more ads and have many similar generic appeal elements.
Unironically, from a development, gameplay, and appeal perspective, why did Engage Kill fail despite the anime existing and it having names like Maruto and Tsunako attached to it?

>>49539075Being a mixed media project by SE is a disadvantage for appeal right off the bat. I never watched the anime nor played the game but the game itself looked like the usual generic low effort turn based slop
>>49539227>Being a mixed media project by SE is a disadvantage for appeal right off the bat.Sounds like Google then, where any time they launch a new project, people joke about it shutting down sooner or later. It happened with Stadia, after all. I'm surprised though that Square Enix hasn't tried to do something about changing that reputation given that they have it.
>>49539719No one sane is going to give them another chance after they pulled the same shit over and over for almost a decade. Most nips literally write off anything with SE name on it nowadays. The only thing they can do is banking on their mangled IPs and hope there are enough retards latching onto them for a year or two before they close it down to repeat the same cycle.
>>49539880Couldn't Square Enix change their ways and try to make their games/services last longer?

>>49542155It didn't even help that the distribution of license for doing live-service games in China was suspended also. Lapis had a Closed Beta Testing in China the Summer of 2020 until that suspension put a monkey wrench on the progress. Corona also blocked Lapis to do another show as well.
>>49542155>>49542235Could the game have survived if it weren't for 'rona, or was it just doomed regardless?
Is there a Shine Post pantsu compilation somewhere?
There are a lot of people who say EoS soon every time, but in the end, it's just the users saying that... Well, there are a lot of things going on, so it can't be helped... I feel like there's no point in saying it out of anxiety... Kusoges will end someday, and even if they do, there are some that have been revived on other apps, so until that time comes, it's fine for only those who like it to play it.

This one is probably better as standalone game desu. I wonder if it's really going to be just one server with language selection like Pokemon Masters instead of different app like the dead Atelier Resleriana English version.
>>49558306>>49558364By "their" I was talking about Square Enix and not Japan as a whole, but I guess that works too.
>>49558306I still blame the black voids for Aster's premature demise.
>>49554143The sad thing is so many games nowadays try to be standalone games and don't want to bother investing into MMPs. They think they can get away with not going the MMP route now. It's really lazy.
>>49559763Why bother spending the extra money on becoming an MMP when they generally don't perform well?
>>49559763>>49559883They're like gamblers. They push out so many MMPs, hoping that even one of them will blow up and be the next Genshin or even Blue Archive. Apart from Uma Musume, I can't even think of any MMPs, as in those created as MMPs, that actually blew up. Not even Idoly Pride or World Dai Star, they're modest successes at best.
>>49560239Hopefully one day after shitting out enough stinkers they'll realise that they should either put equal amounts of effort into all aspects of the project or just focus on one media form instead.
Special shout out as well to the web3 endeavours. Some of these Jap companies must have a gang of troglodytes working in market research
>>49560459It's not even a new thing. Remember Sora to Umi no Aida? When they announced that, it wasn't just the game but also a manga, a novel, and the anime. Then the anime aired a year after the game launched and was a massive flop. They announced the game was shutting down like two months after the anime ended. Now ForwardWorks is down to one or two games and it wouldn't surprise me if Sony just shuts it down entirely, if it hasn't already.
>>49560459>>49559883Nips are full of retarded boomers running the industry, they probably won't greenlit anything new unless you convince them the next MMP will be a hit with mobage, anime, manga and figure released tied in. Otherwise they seem to be very content with remaster remake and endless gacha spinoff of established IPs.
>>49561466>the next MMP will be a hit with mobage, anime, manga and figure released tied inBut that is exactly what they're already doing. That's why they made shit like SoraUmi, Tribe Nine, Takt Op, Engage Kiss, etc.
>>49561466Dunno why you're so obsessed with those lazy standalones. For every flop that just releases a game and an anime for promotion, there are a dozen more MMP that gives tons of content to the consumer as well as sell tons of stuff in various media for the makers. Then you have these standalones that barely provide any content and just has a game.
Are there even that many successful MMPs apart from PriConne, Uma Musume, and Idoly? Maybe Love Live? That didn't get an anime until three years after they started the project.

>>49566213any lore rundown why yostar gave up on it and then gave it to good smile while yostar is promoting it?
>>49568026Maybe ask those things in gacha drama. They discuss and know about those things apparently.
>>49568026Yostar lost their marbles after BA. They already deported several games back to their own devs for self publishing when those games failed to become their next big hit, and now they are resorting to self developing their own game. This game is probably just one of those deals when they think the game won't be profitable enough for them to bother.
>>49567225Well, that sucks. All ages Nekopara has no value.
>>49568611They probably earn more from BA than all their other games combined anyway.
>>49570281BA doesn't earn that much, all it actually has is the big fanart/doujin market, in fact AK probably earns more than it averagely. And Yostar only has JP server under their thumb while the rest are Nexon's.
>>49570349I'm still confused as to how the fuck BA dominates the art scene despite it not even being the most popular game in Japan. I get the lack of Uma art, but even other games like Genshin and Fate are still bigger earners but somehow have less art and doujins. Before you say "cute and funny girls", I don't think that explains everything.
>>49570358Not counting those rumors about Yostar secretly spent their marketing money to hire fan artists to pump out BA arts to create hype, it's probably the same situation as Kancolle, something that just happened to catch people attention and blew up massively.
>>49570358The biggest strength, if you can even call that, is the simple character designs, easy for trend chasing artists to mass produce and spam on their SNS. it makes quite a big difference when other mobage keep dressing their characters like Christmas trees.
>>49347910It's only still around because of global exclusive Mana cards.

>>49570704What's the deal with global exclusive Mana cards?
>>49571955Why is that one anon still mad about it even when the compass anons rarely posts? What is this anon's vendetta about?
>>49571955because the game isn't particularly popular, i'm not even sure why they decided to do one or why they have a cafe but i suspect it's because they have a much lower minimum profit they need to reach to stay afloat and keep their investors happy, compared to something from a bigger company or a game that had a lot of early investment
>>49573328it's just the usual shizo shit. an anon will see something brought up a few times and get angrier each time till he explodes. i also had a little fun poking at #c anon and the shizo probably internally associated my posts with him
>>49573542>suspect it's because they have a much lower minimum profit they need to reach to stay afloat and keep their investors happySounds like Re:Stage then.
>>49572522>>49572558Only if they have pantsu
>>49573542>the game isn't particularly popularFrom how it got an anime, keeps getting cafe collabs, and how those anons keep pushing it here, you'd think otherwise.
>>49570358Genshin and other 3D games don't need fanart and doujinshi because they can use the models or make new models for use in 3D animated ero and mod up the game like an Elder Scrolls game and just live the doujinshi. Is there really that much of an art difference between FGO and BA?
>>49574609>and just live the doujinshiThere's a big difference between 2D and 3D porn, someone who enjoys one won't necessarily enjoy the other (I think 3D stuff usually sucks and I'd rather kill myself than use porn mods)
In terms of art volumes, BA has 617,874 images on pixiv and approx 6500 doujinshi uploads on exhentai.
FGO has 587,523 images on Pixiv and approx 6500 doujinshi uploads on exhentai
Genshin has 545,175 images on Pixiv and approx 2000 doujinshi uploads on exhentai
Note that the exhentai numbers will include duplicate and translated galleries
BA trumps both, FGO trumps Genshin for doujins but it also has a 5 year headstart. FGO and BA both have a much larger cast of characters which probably helps on the doujin side of things
>>49574636Yeah, but given how BA is arguably the most popular game ever when it comes to fan art and doujins, you'd think that it would be dominating the charts too. But it's not. It's a popular game, no doubt about it, but the game's actual popularity does not match the amount of art it gets.
>>49574666It likely just appeals more to artists (including ones that don't play the game but like the characters) especially as it seems to get good engagement on X, formerly Twitter.
Chart topper Love and Deepspace along with consistent performers Monster Strike and Puzzle & Dragons are pretty much irrelevant when it comes to fanart. From my expert insight it probably just comes down to who the audience of those games is.
>>49574666>BA is arguably the most popular game ever when it comes to fan art and doujinsNot even close, must be your first FOTM if you actually believe that
>>49574744It's even overtaken Touhou and Idolmaster, for fuck's sake.
>>49574744Curious to know what mobage has more art than BA either overall or in proportion to its age

>>49583049Let's see how many time KMR can relaunch the same game again.
>>49583618It's too early to tell. It's most likely ok.
>>49585641It's not OK. The whole point of games like these is that they give you just enough to get you started, and if you keep playing over a month or something you can get yourself a decent deck, then you start to get the itch to play other decks and swipe.
Here, you don't get enough for anything, and since the rewards are 1/3 of what they use to be, you'll need like 5 months to get a decent deck, but by then the next set is out and you are forever behind. Even the dolphins and whales can see the writing in the wall, since you have to put in a lot to get going, spending 15 bucks a month gives you basically nothing.
There are a lot of other problems, like most of the power in a deck has shifted to legendaries instead of silver and gold cards, bad balancing, a lot of focus put in the metaverse thingy, etc.
>>49585773The focus on rotation format is pretty awful. Your old decks are not even powercreeped... they are just thrown out
Then they had the gall to add mini expansion in the middle of a rotation
>>49585826On other games this isn't a problem since you simply dust whatever archetypes you don't play and that plus the dailies and free packs are enough to get you 2-3 meta decks. Here, you don't get enough to even craft 1 deck through a whole rotation.
The game is earning good money right now, but it's all thanks to cosmetics, after people get what they wanted no one is going to swipe for packs.

4517 matches later, my cock and ball torture is finished and I've managed to drag Blanche to being my most played hero.
What a painful experience it has been. Her defence is useless 95% of the time, most heroes can one-shot her with a card but she cannot do the same, many heroes can two-hit her with normal attacks, her normal attack pattern is probably the worst in the game, the meta involves special division 4, piercing cards and instant cast shields out the ass, using her hero skill typically results in being promptly obliterated by an enemy who charges theirs faster, only two card types are usable on her, Touma exists. I beg of the devs to give her more health or make her ability apply from all sources of damage if they are adamant on making her a piece of paper.

>>49605878That along with the game itself being horribly plain and boring.
Sad because the game's setting and concept are really good. Coupled with some of the best-looking girls and art style I've seen in a gacha but yeah it's an multimedia IP gacha so unless it's by cygames it's 100% gonna crash and burn

At least it's getting an offline version.

As for cards, details are listed in game but the majority of changes were buffs. Of note are damage increases for close range cards and AoE cards, cooldown reductions for healing cards, counters and AoE status effect cards and cooldown reductions for piercing barrage cards (excluding Stellea's). Section 4 got a measly nerf of a 4 second longer cooldown but 3% more stats - I was really coping that card would get gutted.
Noctis really got a chunk of pretty big buffs, can't say I think he needed them but I guess they want to ensure he sells.
>>49610790Damn Idoly Pride really reached it's 4th anniversary. I thought it was bound to fail since it's a new IP made to promote a new Music Ray'n idol group.
>>49614108Will Idoly Pride save DayRe? Some of its members are already in it.
>>49614113>Sphere = Liz Noir>Try Sail = TrinityAile>Tsuki no Tempest = DayReBro Idoly Pride was literally made for DayRe's members with the more popular older generations being their support characters .

Do games exist to support idol groups, or do idol groups exist to support games?
>>49617749>idol game roster remains unchangedFormer
>idol game keeps regularly adding new idolsLatter
>>49618167they all add new toons tho
bandori, d4dj, imas
>>49618485Some are increasingly slower at adding than others
Hell, to rephrase the answer, in the beginning the idol groups work to build the foundation (game), and when the game is stable the game can support the idols
>>49617749Some games are the former where they were specifically made to promote new idols/VAs just like Idoly Pride and CUE. Most of them are the latter where they just hire the VAs to voice the characters in the game.
>>49618485Because idol groups add members too. Or there's a new group they want to promote.
>>49618647Examples of the latter? Even the Love Live games were made to promote their songs , and it worked. God I miss SIF.
>>49619158>Examples of the latter?Like everything else? They didn't make Idolmaster, Love Live, and all that other shit to promote the VAs themselves. The VAs were just hired to voice the characters.
Blue Exorcist also launched today.
get ready, american horsefuckers are coming
>>49619613>>49621103>Blue Exorcist, Uma EN and P5X JP/EN are launching almost on same dayIt's over...
>>49619285I think you're confusing "idol groups" and "VAs"
>>49621993No I'm not. We're talking about idol games and most of the VAs are not from real life idol groups. Like in Idoly Pride, Tsuki no Tempest, TrinityAile, and Liz Noir have VAs that are in real life groups but the VAs of Sunny Peace and IIIX are not.
>>49622670Exactly, so you're understanding the initial question
>>49617749 wrong, it's not asking about the VAs
>>49622678No I understood it correctly. CUE and Idoly Pride are cases where the games support the idol group. The rest like Idolmaster and other idol games are where that the VAs, who may or may not be an actual idol, support the games. I just understand that idols can be VAs but not all VAs are actual idols so I just call them VAs which is the job they were hired for in these games.
>>49623233Again, VAs aren't idol groups
I'll give you that people who are fans of Tsuki Tempest or TrinityAile may be fans of DayRe or TrySail but Idoly Pride is that kind of a special case where they made the VAs from the same VA idol group voice yet another in-game idol group
The other games promote the characters themselves, not the voice behind them.
>>49623429>Again, VAs aren't idol groupsThat's exactly what I said bro???
>>49623502Your argument is that Idoly Pride supports the idol groups like DayRe and TrySail and Sphere because the game was practically made to feature them as idols as TsukiTempest and TrinityAile and LizNoir, but the other games have no such connections
My point is that in other games people put more focus on the fictional idols and the games exist to support those fictional idols
>>49623429>>49623502I completely understand what you're saying but I don't think you actually read what I said.
>game exist to support the idol groupsThis is the case with idoly pride since they had a new idol group, now called DayRe, and they made a whole ass game to promote them.
>idol groups exist to support the gameThis is what I said are the most of the other games. The VAs, some are actual idols and some are not, were hired to portray the game's idol characters. They are not actual idol groups. They are VAs hired just to voice idols in the game and they are "game idols that exist to support the game".
>>49623549In your argument "idol group" refers to the real life seiyuu idol units like those Rayn groups or Dialogue+ or Earphones or whatnot
In my argument "idol group" refers to the in-game fictional idol units like TsukiTempest in Idoly Pride or NewGen in CG or KiRaRe in Re:Stage or whatnot
>>49623559Look we're practically saying the same things so I don't really get why we're arguing.
>>49623570Not sure why I'm so worked up over this either
Uh, sorry

You know what game also has idols?
Is anyone here playing Uma?
>>49623576Yeah me too anon.
>>49623233Honestly Idolmaster is a bad example because it's a relic. No modern franchise would promote a game over real life events because they know where the money is in Japan. A game is transient but fans of a group can be milked indefinitely.
>>49624480What about Blue Archive?
>>49624867Does that have idol events?
>>49624480You do know the newest addition to the iM@S franchise is doing gangbusters over every other idol franchise right now yeah?
And that particular branch is a prime example of idols being created solely to support the game because they've been adding new idols like bimonthly lately
>>49623871Why would I play a gacha game that doesn't allow lewd fanart?
>>49627527>adding new idols like bimonthly latelyThey added a total of 3 over a year and all 3 were in the story in the first place
>>49628412I was including the unplayable idols as well
Those do influence the popularity of the game, I mean just look how popular Rinha (and Nadeshiko) is
>>49624480>fans ... can be milked indefinitely. No one knows that better than Namco, the masters of DLC and microtransactions even before the mobile game era.

There is no justice in this world when a low-effort tie-in puzzle game could last like 4-5 years, but an actual game, the flagship of a mixed-media project with an anime to promote it, couldn't even last two years or even one.
Engage Kill wasn't even a good game.
