I'm the same Anon who created the previous thread. It was made primarily to talk about the Destruction of Gensokyo fanfic because I stumped upon it from a random YouTube comment.

The thread quickly transformed into talking about other fanfics and Headcannons from other anons. I've seen lots of interesting conversations in the thread and wanted to continue the discussion.

What's crazy is that I was reading up Saint Aquinas Wikipedia page and read a little bit of the Summa before reading that fanfic. It all happened on the same day and was not expecting to find him in a Touhou fanfic.

I should really rephrase that in the next thread because some of the fanfics featured in the OP are closer to cannon than some.

I saw this posted last thread and wanted to ask if anybody had seen things in a similar vain. Fics that focus on one or more Touhou's getting gapped or spirited away to another setting.
I belive another anon called them, reverse isekai?
Anonymous No.49534447
>>49534412
That anon called it a "reverse isekai" because it was the best way he can describe it. He meant exactly what you said, getting spirited away or trapped in the outside world. Or on this case the Naruto world

I'm reading the Russian Maribel fanfic and it starts off with a Remilia and Flandre origin story.

Remilia was just Milla and Flandre was named Nele. Their mother, Catherine, gave them a name change to better hide their identity for being caught by the inquisition.

Catherine performs a spell against the inquisitors and they blocked it with their crosses, holy water, and silver daggers.

The reason why they became vampires in the first place was because they believed it was Christianity that was the cause for all the wars and turmoil in Europe and it only led to dark times. The religion isn't all that it's cracked up to be.

Catherine gave the choice to Milla that if she says yes to becoming a vampire then she also chooses for Nele to become one as well and will have to be responsible for her now. If she said no, then they will both die and will be lost in church books that'll make small reference of them and no one will read it anyway.

> What about Til? Father, of course, laughed at the news that his son brought him, and seriously did not accept them. But the boy did not forget his first love, and having already matured and became a famous person in the city, he never missed the opportunity to tell his next invention, as if it were a completely true story.
And these stories were picked up and retold by many,so to this day, according to Flanders, there is a tradition of Tila, nicknamed Ulenspiegel and his beloved Nele.

Nele (Flandre) meets a young Till Eulenspiegel and becomes his first love at age 6. Till has decided to marry Nele once they are older. However, Remilia forbids any relationship with mortals because they will just die anyway and Flandre cries on the floor. As punishment, Remilia locks her away in the dungeon. Remilia feeling guilty about what she did goes to her room, curls up in a fetal position and cries while biting her pillow.

The young Till grows up to be the famous historical figure who never forgets his first love and to this day according to Flanders tradition, there existed a man named Till Eulenspiegel with his beloved Nele.

Remilia gets into a fight with a man named "Pablo don Bau-no-Suruga-no-Gatta-no-Aragon" (That's probably the best way the translator can present his name from Russian to English.) and kills him with a bite that tears at his neck arteries and blood spills out.

Before this, Pablo arrived to the mansion and demanded that the maids hand over the witch living in it. One of the maids, Voich, refused and was struck by Pablo's sword that was rubbed with a powerful poison killing her.

>Blood for blood โ€” that is not the will of people, but of the gods.
Who would know that a world in which one gets away with everything makes others pay for everything โ€” and sometimes even more?
ยซDeath for death โ€” you must not grumble, but endure ยป.
And perhaps this principle was taken as the basis of Remilia, whose revenge never ended.

I love all the historical references this fanfic makes. The 1500s was a wild time with all the Christian reformation movements, Mรผnster rebellion, and the execution of Lord Cromwell.

>Remilia was just Milla and Flandre was named Nele. Their mother, Catherine, gave them a name change to better hide their identity for being caught by the inquisition.
You know I wonder if anybody has ever done a Norse mythology orgin for the girls. Flandre has Loki and Sutur stuff going on while Remilia has Odin stuff.
It's always been a little headcanon of mine that they're like Okuu, living shrines to dead gods. With parts of their respective gods being implanted into each of their body in place of a heart.
I don't really have a strong idea about how that would play into their vamparism, but I think its cool. One idea I have is that they weren't turned or born vampires, but rather made. They're were originally created being made to have specific traits in order to make them durable vessels for their respective gods.

Continuing my idea the recorded Norse folk-lore as is was recorded by Christian missionaries and monks, and thus have a lot of christain influence. Our earliest reliable account of Norse folk lore is from the 1900s! When the sisters were born in the 1500s.

Lucky for you there is a lot of Norse referencing in chapters 7 and 8 from what I'm reading. They mention going to Svartalfheim (Home of the dark elves) and a character shows up speaking for the "Nidavellir".

Remilia and Patchouli travel to Norway for this.

Oh I know that. It's just that I don't read a lot of Tolkien and when I see the movies I just think they are great and don't go too deep into it and forget about it later.

So Tolkien base his works off Norse mythology sometimes? Ljรณsรกlfheimr is the home of the light elves btw.

I haven't seen or read any unfortunately. Maybe check Fanfiction.net or some other site. I'm sure you're more likely to find fan art than a fanfiction for games that came out on one system long ago. Especially since you'll be hard pressed to find anyone that has played them.

It's the first story I've ever written and it's mainly an excuse for me to explore the PC-98 cast because I think there's a lot you can do with them. The Blight of Makai was actually mainly inspired by System Shock if you're familiar with that game. I'm currently working on chapter 25 and I hope to wrap it up sometime soon.

I love my wonderful Makai princess Louise!

I'm going to be bitchslapped for this, but I like Zounose's works. Even if it is grimderp, it's good to see someone actually taking the 2hus in a more serious (grim) light, and not the usual sugar coating we see by many artists

So, which gameโ€™s bad end would be the worst overall for gensokyo, and worst overall for the heroines. Depending on what happened if the games actually had โ€œbad endsโ€
Anonymous No.49556648
>>49555824
Well most of the bad ends aren't that bad, the issue gets solved one way or another.
But I would say EOSD, PCB, or LOLK. A constant night would be doom for the humans, same would . While the Lunarians purifying everyone would just cause the Lunarian cold war to go hot, probably the worst for everyone overall since that cold war involves the USA, Junko, Hecatia, as well as maybe Tewi and Okina since those two seem to also have something against the mooonies.

I hold Touhou close to my heart. Reading Grimhou doesn't bother me much. It's just when it's written to be mindless and made for suffering is what I don't want to see. There can be some really good Grimhou stories out there that put a nice interesting twist on things that can catch my attention.
