She's a very powerful, unpredictable woman with a mysterious character who can be written as very serious or very silly and have it work either way. She's a loose cannon in Gensokyo, able to be everywhere and anywhere she pleases, and involve herself with whatever, whenever she feels like - or she could sleep for twenty hours. She's got a lot of sway in Gensokyo, and she often uses it to be a big fucking troll. I love her for that.

She has a lot of useful connections: most inhabitants of Gensokyo have at least some connections with Yukari, and this contributes to her power. Outside of that, she's got a whole family in Ran and Chen. Marry Yukari, you'll never be alone again. You've basically already got a child together with her.

Then there's her visual design: She's undeniably very pretty. The flowing purple dress, the mob cap and associated red antennae, the beautiful blonde hair, and bright amethyst eyes. Fun fact: her primary colours, red and purple / violet, are on the opposite sides of the specturm of visible light, and her bow is an infinite eight. She's one of few "developed" women in Gensokyo, and that adds to her more mature character. She's a sight for sore eyes, clothed or no.

Honestly man. The reason I like the idea of my sexuality being truly ace aro is the fact romance in real life scares me. There are two Yukari's, Evil Canon Yukari and Evil Fanon Yukari.
One is a whimsical schemer but without proper human morality but fronts most of her evil acts to appear scary.
The other actually is evil just as she's whimsical but fronts most of her whimsical acts to appear silly.
I love both 100% and would accept it all.

There's a ton of college girls calling themselves aro ace and whatever who say they want an almost platonic relationship with someone they can hug and kiss and watch autistic shows together, don't desperate. If you're struggling with the hedgehog's dillema, both fear of women and desire for proximity with them, one of the two advice may help you: Either stop being retarded and realize there's nothing to fear, or go the proper and slow way and get therapy to try and work through that.
Also, if you're young, it's okay to be retarded, you may not believe it right now but as you grow up and experience things, you'll change.

And she's imagined as sexually aggressive, with no inhibitions and few limits. This is what I see in her, and love in her.

And also, I am also very grateful for your post. I turned eight teen the previous year some months ago and even thought I try to be mature a lot of things from my past sill torment me a bit. I wonder how much of it is due to the novelty of seeing a woman wear a full-length European style dress like that. Like you rarely see them so it’s special when you do and you forgot how pretty they can be. Maybe it’s just where I live (Oregon) or my hiki lifestyle but I almost never see women dress like that. They more frequently wear pants than skirts or dresses, and on the occasions where they do wear the latter the skirts (either on its own or as part of a dress) are usually on the shorter side, often cut in a non-traditional way (like pencil skirts), and the sleeves are either absent or those short puffy kinds. Come to think of it, I’m not sure I’ve EVER seen a woman wear a dress like Yukari’s (European style, long sleeves, long skirt) in-person. Like they’re the exclusive domain of renaissance fair attendees and little girls dressing up as princesses.
