For example, all VN discussion is contained to 1 general, learning japanese is contained to 1 general, meanwhile touhou faggots feel offended because the thread of literallywho died after 3 months and 80 posts of nothing but dumping images the same character.
I don't get it. I expected Gundams, trains, anime figurines, tea and mahjong to be posted here. Otaku stuff that doesn't really have anywhere else to be posted. Not this autism.

I think it would be better if the character generals weren’t so frequent, and I’d rather not have any /d/ tier threads here at all. Overall more GENUINE discussion is better, and but I’d rather have this than the drama threads last month or the grim vs light hearted debates that would ruin a lot of peoples days. I just think there doesn’t need to be threads for “random kappa that doesn’t even have a name”. It doesn’t add much to any of our enjoyment of Touhou, nor does it make anyone on /jp/ who may have an interest in getting into the series wanna actually engage with it I’d bet.

Mahjong used to be much bigger on /jp/ (and it should still be)
However, the /vg/ mahjong thread pretty much sucked up all the discussion as most people play MS or RC
The /jp/ threads were better though.

Hiro organized a contest when the whole Vtuber concept was a new thing for an official 4chan vtuber, where anons could submit designs. Your point would make sense if we take the board name, "/jp/ - Otaku Culture", at face value but when you look a the site history, you would see that /jp/ was created to contain touhou and prevent "spam" on other boards. There's also /bant/ but I have no idea how touhou spread there, not that it's a bad thing. All boards should have touhou in it
