Been trying with Picasa 3 but it's tedious and slow to sort all of my random pictures (sometimes of people I can't even remember). I really should have gotten on top of my collection before I had saved more than 10k images off of Twitter. I don't know the details/politics of photoshoot organizers but it seems like Modern Mahjong events are always large-scale and always manage to bag a couple of high end ladies as "special guests". And they tend to cover every base you can think of -- proper gravure idols, AV idols, pop idols, doujin models, even cosplayers... Hell, they tend to get Marina out for at least one of the events every summer and she hardly ever does pool events.

The duo from SUTENEKO CATS were back at it for Midsummer Swimsuit!

Honestly seems like it was a blast, I've seen hundreds of pictures from the event and all of the models look like they're having the time of their lives despite it allegedly being blisteringly hot (and the sun really is intense in a lot of the pictures).
It was well attended as you can see throngs of people in backgrounds and it seems like each group of girls was posted up rather close to each other so maybe there was just a lot of energy to go around? Also, this was at Tokyo Summerland like last year's Enako/Muse session, and I think the amusement park vibe kind of gives these photos a real "summer fun" air compared to like Shirobakoto Waterpark where it looks kind of desolate with the place rented out (lots of photos come to mind featuring empty pools and nothing but concrete; my favorite pictures from that venue always feature the large slide in the background).

I never noticed if a full list of models was posted anywhere but I'm starting to think not since I swear almost anyone you can think of was on-hand.
Today was the final day so I'm still waiting for more photos from it, but at least on Day 1 they had a sunset/night block, which is appreciated.

You gotta respect these gradols though, most of them were working in all 4 (maybe it was 5) parts from what I can tell, so I mean they're out there literally all damn day. I know they take breaks but, still, it's admirable that they never let their enthusiasm waver.

Very, very importantly, Pool Queen Ayu was there... She took a couple of weeks off last month, so it was nice to see!

Photobooks sometimes have text that sets the scene but being able to read it isn't necessary. Just stuff like "The nostalgia of the sea...." Etc.

But it isn't like a specific type of photobook, just how they end up presented. You can kind of tell from a title or cover image but... For example, the Nagasawa Marina photobook "Goodbye, Lolita" has a "story" of her growing up and intersperses sexy hotel photos with legal loli memories. While a book like the one she did with her sister, WPocchi, is more of a collection of photos that has scenes but not really an implied story besides them having a great vacation together.
If you're new to photobooks in general, then it's standalone photobooks that tend to have "stories" vs the ones made for magazines.
