I know I'm really grasping at straws here but I saw art of the SMT1 protagonist's mother with fat tits and it made me wonder if her design influenced Seija in any way. I am saying this solely because of slight commonalities in their designs and that the mom is killed by an Amanojaku who impersonates her really early into the game's prologue. I know ZUN's taken influence from SMT in the past (Alice, Shinki=Lucifer, Makai, Kanako=Devil Summoner Susano-o, Sumireko=Soul Hackers Odin, etc.) but there's more direct influence going on with those characters while I feel like a schizo for suggesting this. I like how seeing different people interpret Seija's whole contrarian thing. Some people interpret it as a tsundere kind of thing where she just doesn't like to be honest about her feelings. Some people take that a step further and interpret her as being completely unable to properly express herself. And then some people simply portray her as a contrarian who just loves making people upset. It seems like everyone has a different take and I think that's neat :)
