As long as it's cleaning the toy out and getting it dry then it's not overkill.
If most of that time is spent drying it manually then so long as you don't mind noise while it's on and use a thin tube or leave a gap for air to exit if you're using a strong one (you don't want your onahole to blow open or potentially make its own exit hole) then a cheap, non-submersible usb aquairum pump (left) can be more convenient over time.
I've never really used powders on them but will try it out sometime, but for now the cleaning, drying and storing looks like this with a 15W one.

1. Rinse the inside out with water and then rub hand soap inside and outside until frothy
2. Rinse away all of the soap and shake out the majority of water that's inside
3. Attach to aquarium pump's tubing and let it run for 30 minutes to be sure, or a bit extra for the really intricate annoying to dry one
4. Store the now fully dried & slightly warm toy on a wire mesh trolley where it will remain air dried passively and not be close enough to stick to others. It's not dusty here but even if it got dusty out in the open, re-doing the steps isn't long since the interaction is mainly in washing.

I used to place them vertically on cup racks to air dry but that can take too long with toys that have narrower openings or more intricate designs & the softer ones can fall and tear.
I went from paper towel (tears easily, poking around may damage some, might miss a spot), microfiber cloth (might miss a spot and shoving around may damage), drying stick (might miss a spot, needs its own cleaning and drying, gets out of shape), seeing if my electric compressed air duster would work (very loud, extremely fast drying, if you're not careful then it may blow the thing a brand new hole before you can react, drains battery quick, limited control), cheap usb aquarium pump (quiet, moderately fast, can be powered easily, no control) and ended up sticking with a 15W non-submersible aquarium pump (adjustable dial to balance speed and noise, slight humming noise even if it's powered and the dial is set to "off", very fast drying, warms the toy slightly).
The 15W one does what the usb one did but lets me use its power over a splitter to add four tubes at once; sometimes I re-wash several toys in bulk even when they're already clean and it gets them dry within the hour. When it's just one though, the air goes through one single tube to get drying over and restore quiet.

My rod is 14 cm so the 14cm canal is going to be my first pick but the texture seems a little bit too simple I'm not sure how it would actually feel comparing to the others. They don't recommend anything above 14cm for the 140tpe body which is what I'm looking to buy. So the 15cm and 17cm ones are out of question.

The 9cm one is obviously too short but I like the design, it could be good even if bottomed out ?. The 12cm was intended by them to be a butthole. The 12.5 is a spiral design which I'm not a fan of from the experience of the onahole I owned. The 13cm is like a Fleshlight design which I'm a little bit skeptical about but I might picked it if it's better than the 14cm one.
