it looks like summer, and japanese summer is notoriously hellish. i live in florida, and our 'summers' are six to seven months of damp disgust while swarms of mosquitoes and other insects eat you alive and infest your livingspace. my AC is dead at the moment so i'm especially eager for it to start getting less miserable
i can taste the tea and feel the condensation on one of their glasses. it's making me just a little chilly, for a moment, while my hand quickly warms it. i can feel the hot breeze wash over me, and i'm already drenched in sweat. i can hear birds chirping, cicadas whining, insects buzzing around me nonstop, and later at night if i'm still there, frogs croaking. despite it being peaceful and all i'm feeling absolutely nasty and am looking forward to a bath later in the night. i'm thinking about what i'd even talk about if the picture was drawn in my point of view, or if i'd just sit there and try to relax for once in a long while, and i feel calm
