Yukkuri are round and simple enough to feasibly be used as pillows, while fumos are too small and delicate to satisfyingly cuddle. They should probably be cheaper as well, like fp mentioned... but all that being said, I'd rather have a bodypillow.

I'd buy a yukkuri plush in heartbeat as long as it wasn't made out of plastic by some chongding fuckbong bugman but I understand that's a tall order these days

Yukkuri plush. Fumos are a zillion yen, and 200 USD. A yukkuri is cheap and easy to abuse.

I've wanted a giant Yukkuri Reimu plush for as long as I've known what Touhou is.
Had my chance to buy one when I was in high school but I had no clue what the shipping was going to be and I could barely afford the base price so I backed off, no idea where I was gonna put it anyway.
