I think part of it is because she is often depicted as being muscular, particularly before her kimono version came out. There is a stronger demand for muscular women today compared to back then but it's still a bit of a niche. It also doesn't help that a lot of the people who do muscular Yuugi art tend to go overboard with it and go full roid gorilla.

Which ties a little into this. She doesn't get much art in general so people tend to just be glad to get anything at all, even if it's not great. I guess one thing I can commend Yuugi fans for is their refusal to use AI to get more art of her, since even AI doesn't really pad the numbers in terms of how much art she gets.
