I started yesterday with hiragana and did katakana today. I think I remember 90% of em, just a bit slow and a few which I keep forgetting. I'll do some drills and move on to reading anki 1 and 2 for now. The goal is to move on to reading VN's so I get audiovisual cues while reading the text.
I do not care about speaking or writing japanese. I only need to be able to read it so I can continue consume written japanese content.
Maybe one day Ill pick up Chinese too for a goldmine of undiscovered and esoteric memes, but also gacha.
