They mention piracy in the comments section of the youtube description, why don't they look into financing the anime like Hazbin/Helluva/TADC/etc, which are pretty successful? Just selling cheap overpriced merch at high profit margins and making your animation available for free to spread it far and wide?

Game's plenty long without the DLCs. Arguably too long for how easy and simple it is.The DLCs mostly add more areas/characters to the game (and a rhythm game in the hub for some reason). So if you really want more after completing the base game they're there.

DLC1 is meant for postgame and DLC5 is postposteverything. DLCs 2-4 are pretty much small side stories.

if you like the game after 2-3 hours you should get the dlc (1-4 at least). i felt like it was integrated into the game really well and provides you with just enough choices to make optimizing your days feel meaningful. i didn't play without it, but i could see the game feeling empty at certain points without the extra areas.

Yeah, I really like the gameplay, but it's just too damn long and slowly become mindless as it goes further on because of how easy it is, that I got burn out around the SDM stage of the game and never touched the game ever since
Which is a shame, the game is legitimately great, it's just the pacing that kills it
