I remember when that one guy introduced the flower to raw food arrows to fertilizer, then hammer it to soil corpses strat that really broke the way to getting insane faith and rep levels fast and cycling through the gods. Noa nerfed in a way to not get 40 fertilizer from 40 raw food arrows but is still made's it sort of a viable strat (you now get around 4 to 11 fertilizer or more from a batch of 30 to 40 arrows), not just as broken.

I used them all the time with sword sage's big talisman stacks, tried doing it with inquisitor but it really is just too annoying to constantly apply talismans. If you got the room go for it, it's convenient to have everything on the same map. If you plan to grow pastures for feed and worry about land fertility there's many ways to raise that anyhow.
Having the ranch on the same map means you can mix in one or a couple of livestock with the "loyal" trait like shiba dogs. They'll teleport in to protect residents when attacked and might save you a couple of resses and affinity losses. Especially when a monster spawns in or near the ranch since weaker livestock can easily be one-shotted.
Personally I trained up a Shiva, they're grandmaster livestock level, got decent selection of equipment slots, innate frost resistance and naturally with the loyal/cover trait.

How much damage does bane on the weapon and universal bane add? Like say I have a shitty 3d6 club with all bane *** (11) and a shitty mace with 4d7, is the club better?

Changing my Catsister's AI to "Self-Propelled Gun" made a big difference for how I want her. Now she keeps her distance from enemies and focuses on shooting with her railgun instead of running face-first into melee range to be squished.

Does anyone have an idea how to use the banker’s inventory to its maximum potential? You can access the inventory in any map that has a banker. If you take your party member banker with you, his inventory cannot be accessed, but you can use him in your home. Shipping things home is pretty much a solved problem since if there’s a banker, there's probably a shipping box around as well, although you would have to pay the shipping fee. It also works in the reverse direction, when you need something sent to a map with a banker from your home, but I cannot think of a case where that’s useful.

It should, but the gains are very slow compared to just meleeing or shooting/throwing stuff. Probably because Magic Device covers more than just using canes and was balanced with that in mind. It does mean that you can also train Magic Device through ways other than using a cane, for for my Witch run, I ended up turning into a Muscle Witch because I ended up throwing Putit in Amber more than using actual canes, especially because canes used MP that I could be spending on actual spells instead.

I feel like instead of making canes use MP, they should instead use the wands charges mechanic where you have to pre-charge them with magic (MP and/or relevant items) that can only be done at facilities, but otherwise has huge 'ammo capacity' when fully charged and can be used like a bow/gun in that regard.

Changing your class in game.txt will also change your class feats, so if you are a Farmer and decided to become a Warrior, Farming Legs will be replaced with Weapon Mastery. Renaming the class with a patch is an alternative solution, but it will affect every NPC with that class as well.
But you can create a copy of a class and rename it to something else with Custom Whatever Loader.

Golden knight is important utility immediately (carries stuff that neither you nor any other pet in the game can). Lucky cat bonuses are temporary (buffs gear you will replace later anyway, important items can be manually licked later). The downside is that Opatos penance is more likely to chainkill you the weaker you are when you leave him. Plus a thief probably wants to stay with ehekatl anyway.

Been a long time since I last played, but I remember seeing in one of the patch notes that there are some waist equipment with modifiers that allow them to be worn fluffy tail races without penalising them. Did that mitigate their penalty of not being able to use waist equipment enough, or are playing Mifu/Nefu still primarily more for having strangers touching and fluffing your tail without permission?
