Instead we got Mahoyo in 2012, Nasu never finished DDD, Tsukihime Remake in 2021, and Mahoyo will forever be an unfinished work

Playing Tsukihime (2000) for the first time after decades of putting it off. First experience tainted by memes perhaps, but seeing this chair for the first time did make me laugh.

But more significantly, when Shiki chokes the shit out of Kohaku near the end of Ciel's route I could not feel sorry for her at all since I already knew she was the mastermind. I just felt like "Damn, deserved". Perhaps, not the intended response.

this but unironically. I know writing takes a long time but both Mahoyo and Tsukihime Remake lost a ton of momentum and it's unsure if their follow ups (IF they ever get them) will be able to reinvigorate it.

Maybe the real Sacchin route was the friends we lost along the way.
