Had an hours long session with chatbots where I made Marisa give some surprising advice to Kogasa after a failed attempt. The advice being that she should flash her boobs. Of course.

In a word, touchy. It really doesn't like my schizo PosNeg presets, and a look at the Civit comments seems to confirm that it wants you to trim your negatives. Not that it matters, but raw t2i gens come out muddier than v14's, particularly around hands and faces. Upscaling mostly cleans it up, of course, but it's something to note. In terms of style, I haven't noticed a difference - meaning, the style leak problem's firmly entrenched. Update notes acknowledge changes have been made mostly to trained-in characters in any event - although, from my tests, this doesn't appear to include Mizuchi, let alone later newhus.

All in all, unless you're keen on doing fresh gachasluts, which may have been trained in, staying with v14 is no loss.

24B models aren't that hard to run and if you're just doing smut you don't even need that much. Lorebooks solve 90% of character size issues and you're still gonna be holding its hand one way or another through authors notes to get it to stay on track unless you really just like the random nature of it.

Yeah, I don't know. For example I was running 4 different bots in a group and a lorebook with minimal handholding (1 message as narrator every 3-6 bot messages) and it stayed consistent and on track for over a hundred messages until I finished the story and stopped.

I dunno if you're asking what lorebooks are or how they save space but you can set up a large database that activates whenever you say a word like "Cirno" so instead of having to list each and every touhou character in your character card pre-emptively, or have to explain to your model who and what a Cirno is, SillyTavern will silently insert the prompt with your message afterwards.

It can also recursively trigger other keywords within itself, such as Daiyousei, inserting that profile in alongside it (or you can disable that).
Its a little cumbersome to work with for a setting the size of fucking gensokyo, but it just werks. You still want to have the character cards by themselves properly written first, and any immediately relevant characters (like Sakuya with Remilia) summarized inside the card so you don't have selective amnesia about aquaintences until they're brought up.

Highly recommend spending an hour or so going through each entry and pruning out stuff/changing details as you like. You can autofill keywords if it doesn't import properly but sometimes it SUCKS like autofilling "Inaba" instead of "Reisen"

Tried WAN again, since 2.2 came out, and while I can't speak on the comparative animation quality, ho-lee has the generation time undergone some optimisation. My 4090 can now knock out a 5-second clip in 480p in under a minute with an AIO checkpoint. (https://huggingface.co/Phr00t/WAN2.2-14B-Rapid-AllInOne)
Is it still massively random? Sure is. But it's much less of an annoyance when you aren't waiting several minutes per potentially Warp-touched output.

I prompted a straight-on normal Keine, erased her hat, did an img2img at 0.95 denoise with ex-keine in the prompt, then manually combined the two in an image editor and aligned their clothes. Finally, I upscaled the result. I think I also added split_theme, split_screen; but I'm not sure if those tags did anything.
Also a fun accident that happened. The model got really confused and gave me a batch of tomato red hags for no reason.

I was surprised that my laptop GPU could run the WAN 2.1, though it took 20 minutes.
This one only took 6 minutes, though I don't have enough VRAM to make it bigger or longer.

On the subject of trying things:
WAI15 seems quite underdone, and even though it seems to have some newer characters it's a lot worse at following them.
FLUX Kontext is okay, but definitely more suited to less niche things.
Gemini's Nano Banana is nothing that interesting yet in terms of more advanced image editing, though I had a bit of fun trying to get it to generate things that didn't trip the "no fun" filter. It seems to have a hard time noticing nopan provided no slit is visible, and you might be able to get it to i2i bottomless images.

WAN's hard-wired to 16fps, meaning motion progression is tied to that specific rate. You can theoretically lower the framerate in the video combiner, but that simply stretches all the generated frames over a larger number of seconds - i.e. produces slow motion. What you're referring to would require removing frames in post, and that's beyond my care-grade. And skill. Mostly skill.

No way I'm anywhere near competent enough to take requests. Not to mention, there are several quirks to take into account when preparing images for I2V with WAN:
1) For the best results, input pictures should come in either a 1280x720p or 832x480p resolution ratio. Other ratios """work""" but tend to come out stiffer and less animated. Crop&resize is an option, but yanno - it doesn't always end up including everything in-frame.
2) Anything that obscures or disrupts outlines is generally NG. This means that mosaic'd dicks or else body parts covered up by opaque substances or objects are going to confuse the model. Similarly, loose particles, vfx, motion lines and such tend to be interpreted as liquids or sparkly screen touch effects from mobage and, again, cause confusion.

As an example, I cleaned up the dick in the Reisen pic and got a decent-ish result within a few tries: https://files.catbox.moe/05h1hs.mp4
But, in most other gens, the motion lines kept getting interpreted as liquids and stealing the model's attention, which you can see an example of here: https://files.catbox.moe/vg22ic.mp4

In other words, shit's finicky, and fixing things up takes time. All for very possibly nothing worth a glance to show off for it.

Thought about doing one myself but don't feel like it and i'm also conflicted on Top 10 most fun girls to prompt for vs actual Top 10. At the present moment, if you want to run it locally, it's like this:
a) You can learn what all the variables do and set yourself up in Forge Classic Neo or Wan2GP (the A1111-like webuis) - or build your own workflow in Comfy (the The Incredible Machine-like webui).
b) Alternatively, you can follow /ldg/'s guide to install Comfy, download half a dozen 15-gigagyte sub-models, and use their ready-made workflow. It's an unutterable clusterfuck, but it does work out of the box, and it does have all the bitrate-killing optimisations for VRAMlets bundled in, plus some educational annotations to boot.
c) Or, you can use the /ldg/ guide to install Comfy (plus Sage and newer PyTorch), download the merged model I linked above (plus a Clip Vision model from the guide; it's the only sub-model missing from the merge) and use the supplied workflow.
FWIW the last one's what I went with, and I wouldn't have bothered if it hadn't been on the table. That workflow's comparatively simple as well, the only advisable modifications being to the sampler (change to Euler_a), output frame rate (16) and maybe output video compression. I rigged mine with an extra node to automatically pass on the width/height numbers, but that's pure fancy. Still just 13 nodes compared to /ldg/'s million bajillion. I don't know how long ago this occured, but I noticed that danbooru has gone from only having freckles, body_freckles and ass_freckles as tags to now having several area-specific tags like arm_freckles, thigh_freckles, so-on... Rumors probably came from ZUN going "it's all so tiresome" in interviews. Which to be fair consider how he's talked about how much of a nightmare it was to implement the ability card system in UM both with programming (like having to try and make the cards compatible with each other and not crash the game) + the art assets for them, then he proceeded to go make Touhou 18.5 with MORE ABILITY CARDS, then decided for his next game to go make a Phantasmagoria game... then added ability cards to that too! And for a nice break he decided to go write Whispered Oracles (a book with every Touhou character in it which he admitted held up CDS and LE since he was writing for that too). Went and did some collabs made a hifuu album. Then he announces he's doing a back to basics with Th20 which was a complete lie because here he comes with the incident stone shit (not to mention how it changes the story so it quadruples his writing workload too + octuples the writing work for the extra stage and endings)
ZUN I think I speak for everyone when I say, people will probably love it if you actually did a simple return to basics game to give yourself a break.

I think the important part is to not lump simple in together with low/no effort. When I think of 'low effort' in regards to AI, I think of how some places are still just slopping around images that are blatantly AI at first glance. The over the top shading and lighting that you see everywhere, limbs behaving in unnatural ways, distortions on the peripherals of the image that look like they were pulled out of a mirror in a dream, character traits being fused or applied incorrectly.
You know, actual insulting to see slop that gave AI its reputation.

First off, there was a LOT of luck involved, see for yourself in picrel.
And those are only the outputs that I bothered saving. The biggest issue was keeping the shading somewhat consistent between all girls, and also not having the AI crop any of their features out (mainly hair or wings). For some reason it was being very stubborn with different things for different characters. Aya? Lighting. Tenkai? Wings. Momiji? Pose. In the end I couldn't even get Momiji to stand perfectly side-on as you can see. Oh and sometimes the background isn't perfectly white, but you can easily fix that with some cropping work.
Anyways, I found that the prompts needed to get the pose were "looking ahead, from side, profile, bust chart, standing, cowboy shot". I threw in some minor adjustments here and there as well depending on pose like hands on own hips for Megumu for example but that's a case-by-case thing. You might have to turn up the intensity of some of the tags if you're not getting any results by the way, I had to turn up profile all the way to 3 and was still having it fail on me from time to time.

Depends on your definition of low effort, I'd use posts from this thread as examples of good low effort and bad low effort but we've all got different skill and a low-effort gen for me might've been relatively high effort for whoever made it, don't want to talk down on someone for that because I've been there at some point as well.
Generally, as long as there is nothing wrong with the image in terms of anatomy, mixed features, artifacting etc... it's fine. Any gen where you can tell that the genner at the very least cared enough to make it look good is a good gen in my eyes regardless of effort. The bad ones are the ones with clear mistakes present that could've easily been fixed.

It's an artist LORA (namely: https://civitai.com/models/1484453/artstyle-or-puriririririri) that I'm wrangling for one discrete feature (white lineart) without emulating the overall art style (jaggy lines, negative colour palette, face shape). It is by no means the or even an intended use case. Weird that it's so particular about hair colour of all things; not weird that it's acting up.

Threw it on my style to try to make it look a little less 3D and to make the lighting more interesting without changing it too much. It's very inconsistent though, sometimes it's all over the image, other times you have to squint to see it, like picrel (her skirt). I've been thinking of trying to use a LoRA for the hatching instead of the tags, maybe that'll make it more consistent. I think having no_lineart and linear_hatching in the same prompt fries the AI's brain.
