Medicine was actually a doll roughly the size of a ventriloquist dummy, as it says in PMiSS and later SCooW, I assume the confusion only exists because of Kogasa, but Medicine has always been distinct from other Tsukumogami.

skapon_g is a game dev that has put out a number of danmaku shooters over the years (most notably Like Dreamer, also the REDNEG series which is very Touhou inspired and mostly freeware), and his upcoming game is a horizontal shmup that features an incredibly busty fox girl fighting incredibly busty tanuki girls. His art is very ZUN tier (bad but charming) but the games are all shockingly good.
Game is Fox Flare Night, demo is out so give it a try if shmups are your cup of tea.
