Hi, I’m kurogami, the creator of Amaebi Sprite.
I noticed my name came up in the previous thread, so I thought I should say something to avoid any confusion.

My sprites aren’t AI-generated. I usually make a rough sketch, shrink it down, and then carefully clean it up so it looks pixel-like. The game doesn’t have any palette color limits, either.
That said, when I get stuck and don’t know how to draw something well, I sometimes look at how AI handles things (like color choices or shading) and use that as reference—so maybe that’s what caused some misunderstanding.

I’m not a pixel art expert, so I’m learning as I go.
Usually I just share sprites I made for myself on a whim, but it really makes me happy to see people using them and having fun. Thanks a lot!

Actually, I’ve been lurking on 4chan for a while, and I already knew that my sprites sometimes get edited. Like the people who made sister(imouto) much bustier—I just laughed when I saw that. Guess I’ve caused some trouble for you guys by being such a flat-chest fan… my bad, my friends.

I’ll probably keep making sprites from time to time. It’s just a personal hobby, but I enjoy it. Recently three cute fairies were added, and I really feel like drawing them. I also kind of want to display them on my wall at home, like decorations.

I haven't tried it myself, but I think you could hack together a solution with room settings. First build a pen with another, separate room as the only entrance. Put a bed in the main pen, then assign the bed to the creature while they're a resident. Once they've gone inside to sleep, set the entrance room to "private" so no NPCs will enter or leave the pen, then designate the creature as livestock.

Barring death or teleportation they shouldn't be able to leave, though you may have to use the strange pillow to keep them from teleporting into your bed if they're inclined to do so. Also I'm not confident that they'd remain in the same area if you left the map and came back.

I think boost gives more speed, +3 arrow, and +2 casts on top of having a longer duration and a longer cooldown. I don't like either ability all that much though. Short duration long cooldown buffs just don't average out well in a game where the hardest fights are usually the longest fights, and invisible cooldowns are really annoying to play around. Plus elemental vulnerability really sucks and triggering mana exhaustion to gain doublecasting is an annoying anti-synergy.

I feel like Noa should've hammered out (haha) hammer alchemy early on and streamlined or lower the requirements a bit instead. Now that hammer alchemy is around for a long while, it's to the point where it's now considered a part of Elin and thus any attempts to change it would cause a big backlash now.

While I never did the whole 'bonito wine' thing, maybe a step towards reducing hammer alchemy would be to make recipes available in another way. Maybe the ability to trade in tickets for a furniture crafting recipe at 2x-5x the normal cost of trying to claim a furniture? Or perhaps two options for purchasing tickets for a furniture recipe - 1.5x - 2x for a 'single use blueprint' that lets you craft it once, or 2.5x - 5x for an 'unlimited use blueprint' that is like usual.

There are some tricks to Gemini's censorship, or rather, its external partner model that handles the censorship.
- Web UI Gemini is the most censored. If you're using this, you're playing on hard mode.
- AI Studio's Gemini is less censored (but still is).
- Your input image won't be scanned or rejected. What matters more is the output image. You can have a naked oppai loli and get her dressed up, and Gemini will give you a dressed up oppai loli.

How does one go about cleaning up Gemini output/getting it to the same size and resolution as the original sprite? Tried a few and it spat out blown up images without any sprite aliasing

I literally just told it to keep it at the original resolution at an 8x zoom-in so it can be cleanly and losslessly downscaled to 128 and it does it fine. I mean, 1024 x 1024 seems to be the default output so it works pretty well

only issues I have is if I upload one of the vanilla sprites that noa actually has at 64 x 64 but 2x detail, then you get a lot of ugly artifacting and inbetweens, but even then it's still pretty useable after light cleaning

Not really. Centaurs get an extra 25% pen for all ranged attacks. Highest pen ranged weapon is the shotgun with only 30% and crossbows have the second highest with 25%, so getting an extra 25% is a huge bonus. Canes do have 40%, but I don't think anyone uses them for anything other than giving allies specific ether diseases.
Arrow spells also pen 5 resist, which gives you more reason to use spells beyond just activating the boost racial.

Casting is fine on centaurs. Good, even. Rapid casting is a pretty powerful tool to have in the player's disposal, and using it is just a matter of training your magic capacity skill enough for casting at low negative MP to be practical. The archery bonus means you have a fallback ranged weapon while you're waiting for your MP to recover/seventh sense to come back off CD. Fairy is still stronger though.

Fame is only one part of tax scaling, the other is time. And I've found getting good at combat, and delving deep in nefia is really what lets you get ahead, since you find miracle/godly gear with +farming, +carpentry, +crafting, +cooking, +blacksmithing, or whatever else skill modifiers in higher and higher amounts which lets you advance much faster than organically levelling your base level of a skill

You can use it to tame and butcher random wildlife in your base. They're handy to keep around since they don't cost anything and provides meat-on-demand without storage costs or risk of going stale/rotten. I usually run around talking/brushing them to raise negotiation/taming and bump them to the affinity point where they can be recruited (and butchered) when needed.
You can get up to 9 pieces of meat, even marbled, plus random body parts and fur from a single animal making it superior to just killing them for a lot less.
It's a good way to get decent food for NPCs you don't want to waste the fancy Kettle-duped stuff on.
I think you can also incorporate butchering in the livestock circuit to get higher level materials reliably but I haven't tried it.

Another option is to walk on world tiles where there's groups of NPCs asking for some random item. If it's something cheap you can hand it over and have them all turn neutral.
At that point talk or use the brush again for taming experience and provided your skills are high enough you can tame/recruit and butcher the lot.
