Sekai is also a bit overhated here, it's not nearly as good as project diva and the gacha scoring system is retarded, but it's an okayish free rhythm game with a generally good tracklist, except for some awful covers (and most of the vbs songs, but it's more of a personal preference). Also, grey miku and clown miku are cute

At least in Sekai, the gacha is for cards. The cards will give you some gameplay benefits (mostly just an arbitrarily higher score), a mini story, and some will include outfits you can use in the 3D choreography. Pretty much it's entirely fluff that I never gave a shit about and would just play the game

I don't think most people hate the actual game itself. As you said it's ok for a mobile tap tap timewaster. I used to play SIF and Bang Dream for years before and Sekai is pretty much the same game but with Vocaloid music and it simply feels more polished and enjoyable for me so I can't really hate it.

That being said the vast majority of its fans are painfully underage and they can be annoying as hell. I don't really care myself because I avoid communicating with children to begin with.

It was never a problem that his music is fast(I mean, it was a problem for some people but why would you listen to 暴走 if you don't want it fast?)
The problem is that his songs became progressively less complex and interesting in the overall structure. Sure, he changes tempos and rhythms often which is fun for rhythms games, but it does not contribute much to just listening experience. His older songs were better paced, had way more interesting melodies, variations, even contained stories instead of being one monotonous stretch of fast rythms with flashy colors, whatever lyrics and catchy hook repeated ad nauseam. It's not nowhere near as interesting experience as for example listening to disappearance from start to end.
Note that making music for rythm games does not have to be like that. Camellia keeps churning out j-core for rythm game and he manages to make them interesting. Cosmo's older music wasn't that bad for games either, even if it wasn't the primary reason for their existence. The new songs, even if they are well-produced, really do come off as lazy.
