>But Dorothy doesn’t look like a girl
Nobody has ever said girl; I've only ever called referred to them as feminine MEN. This whole thing has been an argument of whether real women prefer manly men, as stated here
>>50014390 and here
>>50013100 and the answer is no, as far as otomes are concerned. No one has ever said anything about women liking traps/crossdressers/otokonokos, which is a whole different ballpark.
>neither does anyone else from OVERREQUIEMZ or UN:LOGICAL?
You have to learn how to read. Nobody said they look like girls. I said half the male designs from OverRequiemZ wasn't on the manly man side of designs (which is true; no beards, no overt muscles; someone from the wouldn't call these designs particularly manly) and /blog/ has made complaints about UN:LOGICAL designs looking too much like lesbians or whatever in the past.
>These are just normal bishounen
I mean, Dorothy is in his mid 20s so I don't think you can really call him a bishounen.
>none of these characters made me think they were the MC unlike Himuko or Lucas
Sounds like a skill issue. I never saw either of these characters as the MC for an otome and I certainly didn't mistake them for women. Lucas doesn't even sound like a woman and he isn't particularly unpopular so I don't know why he was even brought up as a design "most women do not like".
>Maybe stop projecting???
Whatever makes you feel better, anon. I'm not the one making claims about real women preferring "manly men" or complaining that otomes have "boys that look like girls", like
>>50012873 claims. I've only said women prefer "feminine looking men", aka prettier guys with visually feminine traits (long hair, longer lashes, slimmer builds, etc), to manly men, aka men with extreme masculine traits (like what you would find in danseimuke work or bara), and otomes reflect this preference. Maybe stop arguing about something you don't understand, like real women preferences???
