Run anchor.exe (or Emuera, depending on the game), Japanese locale is advised so you don’t run into untranslated text.
If you wish to manually update, delete old files aside the sav and dat folders to avoid any bugs.

You have to treat a power like "stopping time" with some degree of suspension of disbelief, given how silly the premise of stopping time even is.
For some examples:
-If you stopped time, you should in theory be completely blind since everything stopping should include light, meaning no light is reaching your retinas.
-If you move something in stopped time, you're technically moving that thing at infinite speed, which should completely destroy it via air friction alone. That includes yourself.
-You probably shouldn't be able breath or think thanks to air in your lungs and the electrical currents in your brain presumably being frozen. Even if you accept things that are "part of you" as being unfrozen somehow, where does that end? Why are your clothes free to move with you? Why your hair?

That message usually comes up if you used TSP to harass someone like taking their panties and then stopped using TSP while still in the same 'tile'. They'll immediately tell something is wrong (suddenly having no panties), then seeing (You) nearby, they suspect you for it. But they don't suspect (You) if you were talking to them then suddenly vanished from right in front of them into the building behind them and they were also missing panties they were wearing.

Mechanically all that happens is that you lose intimacy and such for stuff like that. Actual TSP rape and such though I think it depends on the character as to whether there is dialogue for it written specifically? Just to warn you, eraNAS while was a TW variant, kind of is different now. While a lot of its content can be filtered away with toggles, a few of them will still appear in the game even with the related option(s) turned off. Specifically, Pops branch is primarily about incontinence and diaper/baby play. This can be turned off, but it's one of the things that may pop up in the game anyway. You can have (You) and 2hus shitting themselves if can't reach a bathroom in time or if child-like/baby regression, which the smell of can make other people nearby do a diaper check on them and change their panties, sometimes into thicker 'accident-safe' underwear (such as mentioned diapers).

The other thing that Pops somehow managed to bring in, in some way, are Rimworld mechanics. The notion of both temporary and permanent injury, even death, and relevant achievements to go with them, stemming from the 'Lethal Combat' system. Pretty much it ain't Danmaku - Danmaku is just 'friendly dueling', Lethal Combat is hands off trying to maim and kill people. Together with this is also where in Danmaku and Lethal Combat, the winner can choose to rape the loser if they so choose to do so, thus 2hus are able to have sex and make babby with each other this away. There are also *MALE* 2hus around, so if their presence disgusts you, you could choose to turn them into females/futas or whatever at game start (but it won't change their portrait; I don't think you can outright disable them? Don't remember). With the Lethal Combat system comes also the weapons and actual magic spells, and also if you turned it on, 'raiders' could show up and attack (You)r location. Can also turn on a Faction system that makes it likely for 2hus to fight each other out of nowhere trying to kill each other too.

With the ability for things to die, the '500 stamina safe stop' that is normally in TW is pretty much gone. In normal TW, once anyone hits 499 stamina, they 'get tired and go home'. In eraNAS, characters including (You) can hit 0 stamina, in which case they pass out on spot. (You) can carry unconscious people around in this way and strip them of their clothing/panties/money/weapons and also have your way with them if you want, but if (You) pass out, (You) can get molested while you're out as well. 2hus can also break into your home to try to rape (You) if you don't lock your door when you sleep, or else pick the lock to your home if you don't catch them doing it. (You) can also pick locks to get into 2hu's homes while they sleep as well if (You) want.

So yeah, be aware that eraNAS is a different experience to the normal TW experience. Even if you turn off most of the stuff, because it has a weird mixture of TW and TohoK mechanics in it, some things can't be avoided. Play at your own risk and don't say I didn't warn you (unless you already started, then well, good luck. eraNAS can honestly be 'fun' sometimes if you know what you're doing)

It's just a bit weird like that, probably one of those things that was supposed to be 'looked into' later on but never gotten around to. For example, if you turned on Three Sizes Display, you can only change the Height and Three Sizes of most Small and 'Normal' Figure Humanoids. Anyone that is Tiny and below or Big or above cannot be configured via Design Character and instead requires body augmentation items to change.

While this is a trivial thing, a character's Womb Capacity is only displayed in their profile when Height and Three Sizes are set. Though the Womb Capacity display isn't like the TohoK style Womb Capacity where exceeding the capacity causes the white stuff to just 'be wasted' or anything - if (You) are Unmatched and have C-Sensitivity at 9 or 10 where you're constantly doing Ultimate Creampies, you cum inflate them to like 5-6L of cum with changes to their Modified Waist Size shown from it (also shows if pregnant). But as mentioned, pretty sure this is only a trivial 'show numbers' thing as though the cum inside their womb drops over time, I don't think it's considered at all for pregnancy chances like how the presence of cum in womb does in TohoK, nor is there a Talent linked to that. But being able to set Height and Three Sizes does mean that you can change any eligible character's breast and butt Talent at any time with no cost (Big Tits, Huge Butt, etc.).

Something about how I keep thinking I'd probably out-damage whatever damage the Linkage would do from having the involved characters deal damage on their own instead, and past experiences from much earlier times when I used to not have Mind/Nerve covered or everyone having sufficient AG to just simply move faster than anything else (except scripted boss battles) that a Linkage wouldn't fail because one of the characters weren't able to take part in it anymore.

Linkages are a dps loss against single bosses, but against multiple enemies they are useful because they can turn single targeting skills into multitarget. A bullet that would normally only hit 1 enemy now hits the whole roll, and with shotguns you can hit the whole enemy party.

Early on you have the Angelic Protection linkage, which is a party % based healing, very useful when you do not have a dedicated healer and only have access to the non % healing skills. There is also another linkage healing skill that also clears all ailments on the whole party i think, but i am not sure.

Also a very niche use i found is that some linkages inflicts certain ailments, like if you link a flame bullet with a flame spell you can inflict the burning ailment on enemies, but i only used this once against a boss that was too difficult to me kill normally so i just spammed the flame linkage on him and defended until he burned to death. It was a boss on the tower of that one quest where you collect fruit pieces for the goddess.

Also, Megaten is a gigantic game, there is a really good chance that there is some busted linkage and that i simply did not find it, do not be afraid to experiment.

Assault Flare, Old One, Venomous/Dream Raga and Combat Tara are good.
Final Call can deal a fuckload of damage.
The 3 Fall-state exclusive linkages are all useful.
Summoners benefit from them more heavily than skill users for obvious reasons.

Has anyone had this bug when playing EraBlueResort? For some reason it always happens to me when making a new game right after setting up your character's appearance and personality. Almost (if not all) of the non-random Persona users can evolve (upgrade) their Persona at least twice. These are usually either unlocked by having that Persona character present in a specific event (e.g. the Persona 1 girls), or by getting them to a higher Fall state. Though there can also be cases where it's possible to evolve the Personas to their higher level forms without triggering the relevant event for it (e.g. the 'magical girl' from Persona 2 that starts with 'Ix' that I can't remember off the top of my head).

While they changed up the Tensei-P Persona system to become universal regardless of which Persona game it is (mostly the ability to instantly switch without spending a turn as many times as you want in the same turn) and as such all Persona users can get up to 3 Personas assigned to them, they cannot have their Initial Persona removed. Because the Persona leveling system is entirely separate from the MAG leveling system thing and thus you can't Recall skills and I think Personas cannot re-learn skills even when brought over to NG+ (they stay at their highest Evolved form with the skills they had learnt to that point, and may start out with a higher level Persona as they don't all get reset to level 5), it does mean that if you wanted to min-max their Initial Persona, you have to know what skills they learnt beforehand per evolution to know which to keep, especially if they have a Persona that suddenly switches from Physical/Magic Hybrid to Physical-focused to Magic-focused or something. Because they can't Recall skills, it does mean that if they had a skill they could learn at level 60 and you Special Summon (evolved) them at level 50, unless a later evolution also has that same skill, they won't be able to learn it ever again. Unless you delete that Persona user one way or another and get a new one (selling, discarding, etc.).

I hope they work on that soon and bring Personas in line with normal systems.

eraNAS runs like that because of what Pops did, which was literally grab code from TohoK, mashed it together with TW coding before adding some extras (Rimworld mechanics) before seeing if it would blend. It's become such a mess of Pop's own doing that I wouldn't be surprised if eraNAS is pretty much abandoned now because the spaghetti mess of its coding has become too difficult for just one person to reasonably work out.

I did the same, had mild amusement and encountered an amazing amount of bugs within couple of ingame weeks. Promptly deleted it, as it really is a complete mess and, despite the fact that I actually enjoy Rimworld this doesn't really work.
I had random NPCs spawning already dead, infinite loops from attempting to do faction missions, faction missions that don't even spawn their targets, NPCs that supposedly exist somewhere not actually being anywhere, crashes when attempting to craft items, and other wonderful things.
Also I decided to kick Shinki in the stomach, and that led to an edgy angry teenager rant which apparently forcibly sets everyone to have -500 Stamina permanently. Guy really wants to use her as a vehicle for everything he likes and doesn't want you touching her in ways he doesn't want, TSP rape leads to her going "IT WAS ME, I GAVE YOU TIME STOP SO I'M GOING TO RAPE YOU INSTEAD," if you try fighting her she has a skill that basically says "I have every effect fuck you," and even if you kill her she just resurrects somehow, even if permadeath is enabled. Bravo, there's no greater proof of a game being terrible than what he's done with Shinki.

I share (most of) this dream with you, anon. I've had the itch to work towards making TW more immersive for a while now since all my attempts at recreating the highs of my first couple of times playing TW failed miserably.

Though apparently it has a 'super easy mode for Takeshi that can't comprehend how OCG works even at a basic level' that just replaces much of the OCG stuff with Rock Paper Scissors.

Well shit, I have to try it sometime, just to see how the AI is for playing it. Considering how bad actual dueling sim AI is though, I can't imagine it's particularly good, especially if it has to handle the modern game.
A shame that my language skills aren't good enough to really try playing it, though knowing all the card names would be enough to play probably.

To be honest, modern decks tend to have such linear gameplans and such high consistency that I'd say coding AI for them would be easier than older decks. You can basically just make a flow chart for the AI to follow every game. Very few involve complicated game states(tear) or actually playing the game(sky striker).

Yeah most of the big changes I've seen you guys mentioning you want to make would warrant a new project.
Either way the game that you'd end up with wouldn't be TW anymore.
Things like major changes to the progression and AI would definitely not be accepted. And even if you committed to making it a new branch, have fun adjusting, extending and debugging all the characters and events already in the project as needed to match your vision.
At a certain point all the TW stuff would just become a burden unless you don't care about it becoming a mess that doesn't make any sense.

The issue with deep dialogue trees is that it makes it harder to support a lot of hus. At some point it's better to take a step back, pick maybe 5 or 6 hus to actually develop, and then just give the rest generic dialogue for romance.

I had thoughts about that, and I'd be working with variants based on tag combinations for generic responses. In an ideal world I would create a system that allows people to implement dialog for the specific 'hu they want without too much fucking around, because modular systems are the way things should be done anyway.

That's not a big concern since if the Japanese don't add a home for her, I will just do it myself, since Asama Joue is too interesting as a location to just ignore entirely.

Also, consider using CFLAG:来訪不能, which would prevent her from visiting the player's home area until you deem it appropriate for her to decide to visit, which adds another dynamic to her character (though this does not affect her visiting other maps, which would require overrides to CHARADATA).

i think i will set up a mega of my work folder where i have everything divvied up by the ERB it would occupy, bundled with some python scripts for sanity checking for dupes or other accidents

right now it's just vaguely set up with masterfile, which has every single line, and the naked ERB text in plain without PRINT etc. attached with the occasional personal comments and things left to do for each event/command

The only problems I'd have with this is that you could also argue for different map changes; it's getting particularly crowded in the Higan/Netherworld/Animal Realm/Hell area, so getting a split there could be seen as more necessary than a home area for like six 2hus at most
