I just really don't like people. I want nothing to do with the outside world, it's better in here.

My job ends at 5am. Starts exactly at 11pm. There's no one to talk to. More precisely, there's no one who wants to talk. I've got 1 guy who monitors me. Old man around 76 years of age. Tattoos on his forehead. He smokes a lot, half the hair's missing from his scalp, he's extraordinary pale, glares quite a bit, and whistles songs from halcyon days. We had a guy missing his entire left arm come by once. Got fired in the third week.
I'm quite sure the old man is teetering on the precipice of insanity. I want to abandon him, this shit job, and flee to an office somewhere to write up nonsense reports and drink office coffee. Should I continue as I am, he'll surely rope me in some unspeakable disaster and that'll be the end of me.
Lads, I've written extensively about him in a notebook titled old man. I'll definitely escape someday. I have to. Also, I have to de-congest my lungs.

I'm 33 years old. My house is in the northeast section, where all the villas are, and I am not married. I work as an employee for a department store, and I get home every day by 8 PM at the latest. I don't smoke, but I occasionally drink. I'm in bed by 11 PM, and make sure I get eight hours of sleep, no matter what. After having a glass of warm milk and doing about twenty minutes of stretches before going to bed, I usually have no problems sleeping until morning. Just like a baby, I wake up without any fatigue or stress in the morning. I was told there were no issues at my last check-up. I'm trying to explain that I'm a person who wishes to live a very quiet life. I take care not to trouble myself with any enemies, like winning and losing, that would cause me to lose sleep at night. That is how I deal with society, and I know that is what brings me happiness. Although, if I were to fight I wouldn't lose to anyone.

Hikikomori better not be complaining about the sharp rise in Indians, when they are too lazy to shag their own women or do any labour.
Seen it happen to my country. Having kids seems way more affordable in Japan though than here.

Anyone, in any state in life, has the right to complain about pajeets. Nobody likes pajeets.

Was there an event in your life that caused you to shut down and occasionally become a hikikomori?

When I had an anxiety stress order. Had it for 5 years and became a NEET during that time. I was really afraid of failing. Eventually got out of it, had multiple jobs, and I am doing fine. Currently going back to school while having the best job ever (everyone is so friendly and nice at my trade). Gym and looks maxed, get asked out by girls irl (can make them blush by looking at their eyes), and traveled to 5 different countries in 15 months. Nobody will believe me because its 4chan but its true.

How come there aren’t as many Hikki threads now?

>can I use this to get a job or something
Yes and no, most companies don't need people who speak Japanese, so you probably won't have any luck there, though it might help you during the job interview slightly.
You can move to Japan and work some minimum wage jobs, or after some training(assuming you're native English speaker) become English teacher in Japan(I'm not that familiar with the process, so I can't tell you the details).
>or turn my life around
Probably, not. If you don't wanna be a neet, get a job, any job really, or go get some education. Anything's better than nothing.

>can I use this to get a job or something?
plenty of remote jobs could use that
careful with freelance, freelance is full of scammers asking you to send some money first for verifications, especially writer/translator/etc freelance
