Thanks, I haven't really done many "sprite animations" with the bosses just the players. Bosses just have an appearing animation that I've done to procrastinate other doing things...
Maybe I do try to make the stars twinkle or give her a few movements to add more animations than just the staff getting some electricity like in the original game.

Indeed looks less messy than Marisa but I also find messy "shizo art" to have it's charm.
Probably the best dithering effects for drawings are those used in manga/physical drawings since digital dithering was supposed to be blurred out by crt screens anyways. Especially to get an analog feel.
