i am still getting the hang of producing a fully fledged song, as making unique rhythms and melodies aren't really my specialty because i tend to easily forget the melodies i'm writing... what key i'm on... or even, the lack of music theory knowledge... but i am still learning! it's gonna take a while though...

I like them too, but sometimes I want a more unrealistic voice. I collect every bank that catches my fancy when I can afford it and they're available, and a little over half of them are SynthV because it's more affordable than finding Vocaloid2-4 physical copies (since most of mine are digital and I've gotten fucked over by that in the past)
My favorite SV bank is Hiyama Kiyoteru SV. I have his Vocaloid too, but he & GUMI are the only upgrades I can certifiably say I like more than their Vocaloid counterparts. The rest I either like equally (Teto, Una) or prefer their Vocaloid versions (Miki)

I can see the problems people have with it, but I personally enjoy it too.

Plus, if you know what you're doing you can make synthv sound more robotic.

It's just a lot easier to get good results, so people tend to get lazier with it, and people tire easily of the out-of-the-box sound.

Personally I think the value of crosslang in AI vocals makes up for the issues, tho I'm someone that listens to Chinese, Korean, and English songs too

I've been complaining about TetoSV probably since it came out. I usually don't even click on songs tagged with it. However, when going through the (song)dumps, I inevitably come across them, to my displeasure almost always. I need to stress ALMOST, because some weeks ago it finally happened: for the first time here, I came across one TetoSV song that didn't make me feel... discomfort.
Will this change my attitude from now on? Highly doubtful. Still, figured I'd share, and encourage the Anon dumping the songs here to keep doing it.
