OP here, all the submissions from the last time have been used and I wish to make this a recurring thing, so the time has come again:

I'd like to give the anons here a chance of having their images be in the OPs for future threads. As usual, the rules are:

1: The image can't have dialogue or a manga page composition, mostly a personal preference thing as I don't think that it looks good on OPs.
2: Attach an AI edition pun to your image submission (for example, if you gen a Rika, write something like "RikAI Edition" on your post, it doesn't need to be the characters' name, but it has to be related to the image, obviously).
3: Try not to repeat editions. Not super strict, but just be mindful of recent threads' OPs.
4: One entry per anon.
5: No NSFW, duh.

All of the gens that get submitted this thread will be featured in future OPs. The selection process will be done via RNG. When all submitted images get used up, I will repeat this post.

Oh, and also, for this time in specific, I know the temptation to submit something Halloween themed is big, but please don't do it, because not only do I already have something planned for the Halloween OP but also there's a chance your image might only get featured in November.

A bit of a FOTM, I know, but I saw it as an opportunity to mess with colors which is something I don't usually do. I'm happy with the result, the juggling of low denoise when high-res to prevent my style overriding the NINAH LORAw and the editing. The recent shift and aggressive behavior Photopea has had against adblockers made me move to Pixlr, which i've been very happy with. If you want an entry level editing webservice, i'd go with it, although it's best you (and I) learn Gimp at some point, and it is a little rudimentary in some aspects.

I just spent 30 dollars doing AI roleplay with Claude where I was Saki in a Gensokyo where everyone was mentally insane. I was bossed around by Okina, and a cyborg Eirin was my doctor / supplier. The entire time I was beating the shit out of mentally ill women / youkai and force feeding them meds or injecting sedatives, and then I ended the scenario on a boat fishing with Miko after I got drunk and beat the everloving fuck out of Hecatia empowered with the literal concept of insanity and was also the source of everyone being schizos. This may have been a giant waste of my time and money....

In the first place the tech itself is being misused. LLMs were never meant to be an AGI or even a candidate therefor. They're not, by design, meant to reason or be creative. All they do is emulate authentic-looking linguistic patterns based on the context and dataset. You know this is a fear about AI I still have, is that it might exacerbate the problem of people having absolutely zero understanding of "things take time"
Because take Rikanon's gens here, he can knock something like that out in an hour but it'd take an artist a whole day / (or more likely considering the need to balance a worklife and personal time) a week to make something like that. So now this papermario gen which has a lot of moving pieces so to speak takes a couple of days and now people are already asking "what happened to it?"

I see this a lot especially with indie games. Time and time again I see a kickstarter project for a game with a 2-3 man team and if it doesn't come out in two years everyone cries out that it's a scam or dead. But most indie games tend to have 5+ year development times even for something "simple", it's just normal but y'know because triple AAA studios can pump something like CoD out every year (GOD remember when CoD used to be considered the prime example of Triple AAA slop? We had things way too good...) it really skews people's perceptions of the time it really takes to develop a game.
I know AI can do coding now too although even as an amateur coder I could already foresee the issues that would have (and I feel super vindicated seeing those exact issues pop up lol) though it does make me wonder if we ever reach the point where an AI can theoretically make any video game you wanted from prompts it'd make that issue 30x worse
